Target has been my spot!!! So far I have been very lucky in finding stuff for my wedding. Just a tip....keep your eye on the "dollar bins" in the front as you walk in. That is were you find the great deals! JQ

My fiance and I both decided that a small wedding party is what we wanted. My best girlfriend from college will be my MOH and my daughter will be my bridesmaid. The bestman is my finace's best friend and my brother is a groomsman. I have found that it has been much easier with a small wedding party. I have friends that have had large wedding parties and have been stressed with communication issues.

Sadly...I keep getting the verizon fios pop-up....Its ok when I'm at home....but it gives me away at work! Especially when I have not muted the volume! LOL!

Hi beachbum21...My fiance and I used Evite to send our STD's and included a link to our wedding website created on wedding wire. We can update the website with pertinent info as we go along. We intend to send STD magnet to those that are traveling with us. As for the invitations, they will be more of a formality because our STD had all the info in it. Happy planning! JQ

I read and was recently told that usually about 50% of guests invited show to DW. But like AfricanVenus said....people have money issues and may want to attend but may not be able to afford to. My fiance and I invited about 60 people - included in this amount are people my mother insisted on inviting. I really do not care how many people attend...as we are not going to an AI. Our wedding package does not limit the number of guests. At the end of the day...my fiance and our families will be there...That is most important to me! JQ

Whew...I had not even thought of a bridal shower! Silly me....I thought the shower & the bachelorette party were the same thing! (silly of me...). Cupcake....you will NOT be sorry. the communication with Jasmines was awesome and my dress was PERFECTION!!! I have seen other "knock-off" dresses but I have to say....(maybe I am a little biased) Jasmines work was the best! The detail was impeccable and it fit me perfectly. I purposely overestimated the length because I am tall so I need to have it taken up a bit but other than that....the dress is perfect. If you scroll back through this thread, you can see my dress & the inspiration...... They also included cute little trinkets in the package like, a mouse pad & mirror key chains...(all their advertising stuff)....but I thought it was cute.... I will cross my fingers for you...but really no need....you will be happy! Keep us posted.... JQ
