Hey ladies, So I think I may have solved the photographer issue and wanted to get your ladies opinion! I found someone who is a professional photographer for Victoria's Secret part time and said she would be willing to do our entire wedding day for $1000 + cost of travel? Just curious on what types of quotes everyone else has received? Didn't know if this was a good deal of it it seems ridiculous? She is going to give us a DVD with all pictures retouched in HIGH resolution for us to print anywhere we want. Also full rights to the images. Any thoughts? I'm thinking this sounds like a great deal because she is a friend of a friend (who won't be at the wedding) so it won't be like she will be just hanging out....

Hi Ladies, Anyone doing a symbolic ceremony? We are going to have our good friend be our officiant. Wondering if anyone had a good source for wording for the ceremony? And what about the unity candle vs. sand? We have chosen to release two white doves at our ceremony, not sure exactly how this will time into the ceremony yet... any ideas? xoxo

Thank you SOOOO much ladies! That is a huge relief from people who have actually visited during this season. I know my guests will be kind of freaked out if they see rain on the forecast but as long as it isn't raining the whole time we will all be fine. I have already started emailing my WC (Elizabeth Riff) to workout a back-up plan incase it does rain. Jaime I noticed you are getting married on my birthday, great date choice I'm sure this will be a beautiful time of year and I can't wait to see pictures! May I ask your ladies opinions on airfare? I booked with destinationweddings.com and they don't offer airfare. I've been checking websites everyday, I'm a travel assistant for a reality TV show so it's basically my job, and haven't found anything under $473 with stops. Any advice? Right now it's looking like American Airlines with a layover in Dallas.

OK, I am starting to freak out a little bit with everything I have to do before my wedding in September. And I am also starting to freak out about the weather and it being "hurricane" season. My TA has assured me that 99% of the time the weather is fine and might rain for like an hour or so, but I don't see ANY other Brides booked for beginning of September. Am I crazy? I mean this was the only holiday weekend that worked for us and our families and now I'm thinking it might get ruined because of the weather? Any Brides who've gotten married or visited the resort around Labor Day? What are your thoughts?

My FI and I are thinking pocket invitations to include all the travel information, we are going to send out around 75 and I would like to keep the budget between 200-250

I feel silly for asking but what are the OOT bags? I'm assuming they are welcome bags for the guests. But not sure what that exactly stands for?

I am working with a $2000 budget but don't want to sacrifice the pictures, its the most important thing to me. Any advice? Also I would love some input on flowers! My dress is ivory/champage and I've choosen a blush pink for my bridesmaid. I was originally thinking stargazer lillies but I also love the idea of cala lillies. A few months to go and have A TON of details to figure out. Most importantly is flowers, trying to decide between stargazer lillies and cala lillies.... hmmm!
