These are fabulous! Love them! Such a cute way of asking them to be your bridesmaids!

Sorry for the double post, I completely forgot to ask in my last one! I'm making a jerk seasoning favor for my OOT bags, and try as I might, I haven't been able to come up with anything super cute to write on the label! Does anyone have any suggestions? Also, if anyone is interested, there are huge 800g containers of Cool Runnings Jerk Seasoning at Walmart for $2.97 (should be enough for about 10 favors)! I'm going to divide them up into smaller shaker containers that I got at Dollerama 3 for $1!

Our bags are similar to the second one you posted, however they are outlined in brown fabric on the edges and have a big brown button on one side that has a loop so you can close the bag. For $2 we loved them! I got my lip balm at the Dollerama here, and have seen them at a few locations. They have the Aquafina ones 2 for $1.25. They're not the standard shorter lip balm, but are long and skinny. The best part about them is that they fit perfectly with the free Vistapint return labels! I was able to attach two of the labels, one to each side, and they are a perfect fit!! They cover all of the logo and ingredients and such, and look like they were ordered just for us! And all for $0.63 each!

That is so smart! I would never have even thought to ask them to cut off our wrist bands for the big day! That's what I love about this forum! Thanks ladies! I appreciate it so much! I wanted to make sure I absolutely loved it before I showed it to my girls! I'm about 99% sure this is the one! Boo for them not making it in bright purple! One suggestion though - have you actually looked at the colour swatches in person? My colour is coral, to I thought that the coral colour (which is in the pic) would be perfect! But in person, it was WAY too dark and orangish, so now we'd be ordering it in the tulip (which looks pale pink online but is a pretty coral in person!). I found the colours online super deceiving! Have you tried the raspberry? So it still might be a possibility! Good luck!

Agreed! That would have been too convenient with us being there at the same time! We'll have to creep each other's weddings and compare notes! lol! We still don't have a final count either, but our deadline for booking with our TA is coming up next week! They have to be ordered in groups of 10, so we estimated! Unless we get a sudden onslaught of guests we should be just below the 20 mark! Intimate but still enough to dance the night away!

Sounds like you got a great price sunstarsmoon! I was hoping to do the catamaran with snorkelling and Dunn's River Falls as well! I tried contacting Jaital, but after 3 emails I still had no response. I finally got one the other day and was quoted $79 per person for the private trip with 16-20 people! It seemed really expensive seeing as that price is even higher than what is quoted on their website! Did you have to bargain with them to get that rate? I'm still surprised that it is so different!

Thanks JayKay! Unfortunately the company was of zero assistance but it worked out in the end! I was a nervous wreck about it all day! For such a simple thing as sashes! lol! The things we do for our weddings! I ended up getting the organza ones in coral. I was hoping to get the satin initially, but the coral colour was too orange-ish and dark! Here's hoping they match!

So many pretty dresses! So hard to choose! This is the dress I'm presently thinking of for my girls! I really love the one shoulder, but am trying to avoid the flowers on the one shoulder which seems to be really popular! The problem is that my girls different shapes and sizes and I want to find something that will flatter most figures without getting different styles of dresses! What do you ladies think?

Turns out I'm going to get my sashes after all! PHEW! Apparently their system couldn't comprehend that I had placed my street address THEN my condo unit number, rather than my unit number THEN street address! Makes all the difference in the world apparently! For something that's processing tons of credit cards its not very smart! Oh well, trial and error paid off this time!

I feel for you Katelynn! Family stuff is never easy, and just think we're all marrying into another one! What were we thinking!?! I agree with the others, although they might be financially contributing, it is still your day. Ultimately all decisions come down to you. Its nice to give them a chance for input, but once a decision is made, your FMIL needs to accept it. This may sound silly, but what if you told her that you would really appreciate a letter or poem instead of a speech? Something that she could write to you and your FI that could be framed and given to you as a gift or something like that. Then you could make some wonderful statement about having it forever, even though you wont be able to squeeze it into your big day? It may make her feel special and get her off your back! Who knows! In terms of a dance, I would say hold firm on that one! You absolutely don't want to feel uncomfortable on your special day! Maybe you could let her pick on song later in the evening that her and your FI could go and ask her to dance to it while everyone else is dancing. Then it wouldn't be a formal mother/son dance, but she'd still get a song and dance! I'm all about trying to compromise, yet still get what you want! Best of luck!

After a lot of debating, this is the bouquet I decided on! I did switch up all of the colours to make it match our colour scheme. We 're doing pale green hydrangeas, white orchids and our roses will be 1/2 coral and 1/2 white! Here's hoping it turns out ok!

Such a fabulous idea! Thanks so much for posting! I was looking at the 'message in a bottle' stuff that they had a Micheal's but the bottles were so large and looked like really cheap plastic! These should be the perfect solution! Looking forward to hearing how they turn out!

I agree. I had started working with a great TA who helped me to narrow it down between a few resorts, but when she got back to me with the pricing it was WAY higher than she (and I) had anticipated. She said that she was trying to get me a better deal, but that it would take weeks for new offers, etc. Unfortunately we didn't have weeks to wait on her and shopped around 2 other TAs for quotes. One of them was able to get us a rate that was almost $400 cheaper than the original quote!!! I simply explained that to the first TA, and she agreed that she didn't have access to that pricing and understood our need to get the best deal we could. I would just be polite and honest, and let them know that you have to pick the most affordable vacation option for your guests! Good luck!

Hmmm...I can't figure out what the problem is then! My billing address is my home address, the same home address I am trying to have them shipped to! And we tried this on my both, and my FI cards! I tried emailing the company and they said there is nothing they can do to help me if the credit card doesn't go through and that they won't accept any other form of payment! Very frustrating! I guess I'll have to buy them from somewhere else! Good luck with receiving yours!

Just wondering if you ladies who bought sashes had a lot of difficulty with the company? I tried to purchase them on two different credit cards but my orders keep getting cancelled because according to them, my billing address does not match the mailing address! I even called the bank to confirm, and they're the same! I tried emailing them but they refuse to process the order! Did anyone else have this difficulty? Thanks so much for sharing your wedding story with us! I really appreciate it! Can't wait for my big day...the days are going by so slowly!!!

A question for those of you who have made personalized lip balm: So I was all excited when I found the Aquafina lip balms at Dollerama (2 for $1.25) because they're long and thin and I thought my Vistaprint returns labels would fit perfectly! We put them on last night and the fit was great, BUT, they seem to be peeling at the edges! By this morning half of the edges were completely off! Are people using clear coat on top of them? Any tips would be super helpful! Seems like such a pain in the butt for lip balm! Might just give them un-personalized!

We're going to do a sand ceremony as well. I chose a frame as well, because I thought it might be better to display in the long run. I fell in love with it because you can add seashells or flowers from your day as well!
