Hey we are getting married at PPC on dec 3, 2011.... we just had our planning call today. I am totally devastated that Teresa no longer works for Paradisus!!! She was great, very easy to talk to, and very prompt and thorough with any concerns I had. Our file has been transferred to Miami and well, the wedding planner there didnt know a thing about our wedding. She had all the wrong information, even had the wrong file open, not even my name!!! I must say I am worried at this point, our wedding is just over a month away, and I am upset there had to be a staff change right in the middle of confirming everything.

Hey, im getting married at the paradisus punta cana on Dec 3!! its coming so fast!! You are right, its super expensive if you go over the 24 people covered in your package. we have about 45 people coming, 36 are adults, the rest are children. I am bringing my own centrepieces, i made my own bouquets, corsages and boutineres. I am having my cousin take photos (he is a photographer), i am doing msg in bottle seating cards, and i have yet to think about what i want to do for decoration, it starts at $450 to decorate!! INSANE!!! We are getting married in the gazebo, and have decided to spend the money to have DJ mania for our music. We are trying to cut costs on everything else, we chose the chill out chic package, our power planning phone call is coming soon. We are going to have the reception end at 10:30 and then those who want to continue partying can go to the "red lounge" im sure all the kids will be asleep and we are counting on all the grandmas and grandpa's to babysit for the night.

ok thanks, I was thinking to give them out at the airport when leaving for our trip. Only bc i dont want to have to pack it all to take, i need space for sooo many things. Im worried it might be too hectic at the airport, not sure what to do!?!

Hey, Our wedding is at the PPC on Dec 3 2011. I have heard so many great things about this resort. As for the ceremony we are choosing the gazebo, i heard its the most private! We looked at prices for a photographer and were blown away by all of them!! they are sooo expensive!! so a cousin of mine who is starting his photography business is coming along and will be taking our photos. We have also chosen the chill out chic package, and have about 40 guests coming. What i am most nervous about is extra things that we need that we will have to spend money on last minute... i am really hoping this is kept to a minimum! Have you had your power planning phone call as yet?? I believe ours is coming up in august. What are you doing for a DJ/mc? and where are you having your reception? Our wedding is Dec 3rd at the Paradisus Punta Cana resort in the dominican Republic. So far about 37 have officially booked, there will probably be a few last minute people too. I am shcoked at the turn out, I had told my travel agent that we would probably only get about 24-25 people max!! I have tried the making my own Barefootm jewelry and its sooo east and sooo affordable. I am making all my bridesmais a pair, and mother and mother in law... and of course myself. Does anyone have any good ideas for centre pieces? I havent seen any that the resort has that i actually like, as well they are very expensive, so i was thinking of making my own and bringing them. I absolutly love the msg in the bottle idea which i am doing for seating cards. Should i be freaking out?? i do not have a dress yet, and havent started looking either!!! we are going to look at bridesmaid dresses tomoro. Has anyone heard of HENKAA?? Its a very versatile dress that can be converted to many styles so my bmaids can use the dresses again in the future. so much to do!!!
