ooh no Mich, Sorry to hear that. *hugs* Family can make all this planning very difficult and emotions run high, but hope you are keeping your chin up. FI and I decided when we pulled the trigger on a destination wedding that no matter what happened our outlook would be that if it was just the 2 of us SO BE IT. Anyone else joining us was just a bonus. Remember why you chose destination. But in my humble opinion, I think its fair to share your disappointment with your mother since she let you down. But only you can be the judge of that. Whatever you decide to do, I guaruntee she will regret not being there. And in December, you will have your toes in the sand, drink in your hand....not a care in the world! xo Holly

Pre-travel brochures Brochures: Inside Pens Rotate Tshirts: Ladies' T-Shirts: Reverse side Hats Bags for BMs Magnets for OOT bags Bcards for luggage tags Post cards for OOT bags I have also made return address labels and a return address stamp for use in invitations, thank you cards etc. Still planning to use rack cards for menus and or programs. Also, if you are ordering the ladies tshirts, they fit quite big. I normally wear a L/ or XL in a ladies T and I ordered XL and it was massive and boxy! I am going to have to reorder in a smaller size. I tried to shrink it, but it still would fit FI! LOL.

Thanks Ginger! This is good to keep in mind. I know I would panic and lose it if I were in a similar situation. I have full trust in our travel agent, hes been a godsend so far! Now I can relax knowing if the worst were to happen we wouldnt be stranded. But changing the week completely. eep. that really messes up a lot of people! *crosses fingers and knocks on wood*

My Fi has a white linen shirt, and I dont think its too see through, though I would suggest getting them all a white undershirt and then you can decide? As long as they are all doing the same thing, it will be fine!

Janet, I love your program fans! do you have a pic of the text or a template you could share? I am not sure exactly what I want to include in programs. I was thinking of skipping them...but I like yours better than the flower petal shaped ones I have seen!

We decided to book HDC. We also looked at Katya, but though her work is gorgeous, shes not in our price range. HDC has been super responsive, flexible, and has a great range of packages. They have also done a tonne of weddings, and get great reviews on BDW. I suggest searching around for the punta cana photogs thread and then compare their portfolios and their prices. Thats what we did and we are happy with our choice!

I think it looks so much better! Perhaps you can remove the belt. It also seems like it should be lower at the natural waist, though due to the detail of the dress, I don't think it's necessary at all!

Or perhaps there is a thread on here somewhere about salons in punta cana. I betcha there is!! Off to search! I would love to pay for my girls hair but $500 bucks seems outrageous. Especially since 2 of them have short hair.... so maybe they will want to do their own? hmm.

Hey girls, For any of you planning any spa services, I was on a hunt for hair and make up pricing and I came accross the spa menu http://www.paradisus-puntacana.com/images/punta-cana/YHI_Spa_PPC.pdf There is actually no pricing for bridal hair so I have emailed Theresa to ask. Has anyone used the salon at PPC? Did you like the results? I am definitely getting my hair in an updo of some sort, and possibly my bridesmaids too. One of my BMs is very talented at make-up and has offered to do the bridal party, but it would be nice if she could relax....so if it is not so expensive, maybe it will be my treat? Thanks! Holly

Peach, Davids is available in Scarborough and Mississauga now if you are GTA... prices are a little more but not that much different when you factor in gas! (if you are GTA)

Tori! Another silly question. I downloaded a template for your survival kit toppers from your OOT Thread, and I noticed that the font is different and shows up ultra huge. I assume that this means you downloaded a special font? I dont necessarily need the name of your special font since I think its important that I dont steal ALL your work, but would you be willing to share HOW you got these fonts. I'm just a beginner when it comes to this design-y stuff! Is there a particular site that hosts the fonts? Do I have do download them through Microsoft? Did you pay for them or are they free? Any other suggestions? Gracias amiga! ps. I noticed one of the other gals is planning another Toronto get together in the meet up thread. Are any of you girls in the GTA thinking of going? Might be fun to meet the peeps who we spend so much virtual time with?

Hey Tori! I came back to grab a template from your thread and saw that I had missed your reply!! thanks for this info about the dollar tree totes return date. I am torn between ordering the OT ones in blue and white or waiting until Feb. I really like the dollar tree ones more. Do you happen to remember the other color combinations that were originally available from dollar tree? They are not even on the site anymore. I have some time to mull it over since I want to be a little more sure of numbers before I go for them. In the mean time I have started a list to buy the items to put in them, so I can start watching for those deals as they come up, and planning a big purchase from Oriental Trading and Dollartree online.
