Hey Luvmoo. Thats terrible about your BM dresses. Do any of your bridesmaids live near davids bridal here in the GTA? I have had such good experience with their BM dresses, and often you can order off the rack or online fairly quickly. It will be very difficult to find 3 dresses off the rack in white/pale blue this time of year... which makes it tough to NOT buy online. Have you checked out the dresses in Victorias Secret? They are generally pretty affordable?

hey cape codder! I've been playing around with the seahorse and sand dollar/starfish punches. I made confetti for the tables at my AHR out of some left over cardstock, and I also made some drink flags (a la FutureMrsTGun's, where I got my inspiration). I am going to use the punches for invites as well, and I am thinking that I could use them to make some lumis, but I havent tested that out yet. I was thinking a border along the top, so that the light shines through. Tori, I scoured the Dollarama near my house, but it was a ZOO in there, and if there were peacock feathers, they are now gone. I am going to check out some other locations tomorrow after work! I did pick up some individually wrapped mint life savers and lollipops to include in OOT bags as well as the kleenex packages. ps. My funny FI informed me today that he HATES seahorses. I was showing him some ideas I had been tossing around for the invites and decor stuff. I was surprised... since who hates seahorses? when I asked him why, he said they are ugly and look like little shrimp. Boys are weird. Holly

Hey girls, I have another question about hair! I am still looking for another option other than the ppc salon since I'm pretty disappointed in the 100 per person price tag. I had originally planned to pay for my 3 BMs and the moms to get their hair done, but that's another 600 plus dollars if I do so at ppc. I like that they come to the bridal suite and they offer a champagne bruch for another 250, which is a lovely idea, but pretty pricy IMO! For Janet, miss sunshyne and jkweddingday: did you book the resort salon? I would love to hear your feedback when you get back on their services. I'm wondering whether contacting a local salon is a better option. Did any of you go this route? If you do venture off the resort and notice a salon in punta Cana, would you take note of it for me? My searches haven't come up with much. Thanks!!

Tori! Thanks for the heads up on peacock feathers! Ack I am in Florida for work so I hope there are some left at my local store when I get home!!!! Believe it or not I had no time to shop for oot and beach themed wedding stuff while I was here. How disappointing. Silly work is getting in the way of wedding planning I am making some lumps with a great peacock feather image I found, and have ordered 25 for use in bouts and bouquets but I would love to get some more for the ahr decor! Hey ladies! Hit a milestone today and I'm down 20 lbs since Aug 30th. YAY! Also I tried on a dress that I am considering at Davids bridal again, and I am down 2 sizes since last time I tried it on, out of the plus sizes and in to the "regular" sizes! YAY for spending less for the same dress

Hey girls, I actually bought these sandals a couple of years ago. they are very sturdy and the interchangable straps are fun!! the one thing is that I would go with a size below your normal shoe size as mine look a little big and clunky, and I prefer not to see alot of the bottom of the shoe outside of my foot if you know what I mean. But they are soo comfortable and what a great cause. I am glad they are diving into the wedding market, thats a great place for a womens charitable organization to play!

Hey! The trick to vista print is to add a few items to your cart but do not buy them. Then you will start receiving regular emails to your inbox with free deals. Things are not really ever free as you do have to pay shipping, but considering what you are getting it is totally worth it. If I were to design and print many of the items I have gotten from vista print I would have spent a fortune... You can also order only one free item of each like 1pen, 1notebook,1 tshirt etc per order. But you can go right back in and order the same thing again when you need multiples and they will all ship together. I am seriously thinking about doing a BD shoot. I have been working really hard to lose some weight (pending wedding dress purchase was the driving factor!). I think its worth the investment to get some photos that FI will love and will make me feel great. Toronto/GTA girls. Have you done a BD shoot? Any recommendations for photogs or studios? I saw Honeybourne intimates but they are quite pricy...there must be more than just one in the Toronto area!! Suggestions?
