    Ah, so many beautiful choices it made me want to change my colors a few times while reading this thread. Ok, back to my original ideas, and I will post some inspiration pics later.

    Thanks for popping back in 82turtles. I find this thread is slower than some of the others, so there's not as much feedback from past brides (or grooms). Have you done a review or posted pics?

    I LOVE the new dress, I had eyed it up before I got mine! And you look great in it. I actually think you looked pretty in the first one too but the new dress does have more of a wow factor. And more importantly, you love it when you put it on.

    My timing was slightly different as we were only 8 months out when my TA got pricing for me, but once we had that, we sent out e-stds, with a link to our wedding website which then had all the details about booking and the deposits, etc. Then I sent out the actual paper invites out 2 months prior. Honestly, I didn't really need those, because we basically know who is coming except for a couple of people, but I wanted to send them. And it did get people to go back to the website to read all the updated info and give us a meal choice.

    I was not going to do OOT bags at the beginning. But then I thought we don't have many people coming, and I can put in things they would not think of (travel mugs, lanyards, etc), but not a bunch of extra stuff, and it won't be costly. I think people will really like it, and that we thought about them in this way. I don't know, It is obviously not necessary but I thought it was a good use of $150 out of our budget.

    Thanks Sandy for all of your input! RFinger, your drink sounds good. I was thinking of doing a version of Purple Rain - so vodka, blue curaçao and cranberry juice. Or else we are having very small splashes of yellow in the wedding so I was thinking a lemon margarita. Basically I don't want anything too sweet.

    Love these shoes! Unfortunately I have no excuse to buy them because heels won't work for the wedding or reception.

    I think I am going to show off my pale self, lol. I am worried it will endup streaky or orange or something horrible, and I REALLY don't want that. I would rather just be pale.

    They look great! I wish I had ought the waterproof lanyards, I just got regular ones. Oh well, what the guests don't know can't hurt them I guess.
