So I just sat down with my MOH and showed her the items I was planning on putting in the OOT bags, her response... "OMG! It's a wedding not a kids birthday party" Guess she was not a big fan of the coconut tree pens or flip flop shaped playing cards LOL

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this...I have people asking me whether or not they are going to be in my wedding. This is very awkward as the people who are asking I did not intend to have them as bridesmaids. Has anyone else experienced this and if so how did you handle it? I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings but at the same time I find it quite rude of them to ask.

Hello! I will be participating in the Running of the Brides in Washington, DC this month. I'm wondering if it is really worth the hassle, has anyone gotten a great deal during the ROTB?

Great to hear they are offering them again. I was offering to ship because I was told that they no longer have them but hey free is better than $5 any day.

Thank you so much Ginger. I think I was reading a review and the bride mentioned that they had the actual reception on the beach because there was no room in the restaurant. I am totally fine with that but then I started thinking (which is dangerous-I know ) what if it rains? we can't have our reception on the beach,what then.

We've started working on our guest list and after a lot of back and forth decided that we rather not start any drama so we are pretty much inviting everyone in my HUGE family. If only half of the people show up then we will still have about 100. When I booked the Iberostar Rose Hall Suites I was not intending on having such a large group and I an now concerned that my ideal day will be compromised because of the size of my party. Just wondering if any other brides have had a large wedding party or if anyone has any suggestions on a resort that can accommodate a party? I love to dance so we absolutely MUST have room to get our groove on Thanks in advance for any feedback.
