  1. got my girls dresses in...they look a lot better than I expected. I ordered the light green in hopes that it wouldn't be as light as the picture and it's not...it's a very nice shade of green. The girls are happy with them http://www1.macys.com/catalog/product/index.ognc?upc_ID=29359370&ID=444741&Quantity=2&EXTRA_PARAMETER=BAG&PseudoCat=ba-xx-xx-xx.index
  2. These were smaller than I expected but they work. My fiance is 6'3 and 300 pounds so I had him hold it to see if it looked like a lil sippy cup in his hand...he likes them so I'm trying to stock up as many as I can. I just ordered labels from Vistaprint for them.
  3. I am currently debating on what to put on my BMs feet. I really like the barefoot jewelry but I keep getting the question on whether their feet will be hot in the sand
  4. Got my girls dresses from Macy's. They are light green, I really like them http://www1.macys.com/catalog/product/index.ognc?upc_ID=29359370&ID=444741&Quantity=2&EXTRA_PARAMETER=BAG&PseudoCat=ba-xx-xx-xx.index
  5. I actually like these a lot. They are casual but yet elegant, I think your BMs will love them!
  6. Just got my oversized postcards in, we are using them for our welcome booklet covers. LOVE 'EM!! I am awaiting the arrival of our room key holders (business cards) and the labels I created for our travel mugs. Will keep you guys posted.
  7. Got my dress in today!! I purchased it from Preownedweddingdresses.com. The young lady ordered it but then changed her venue so they dress was never worn or altered. I was really worried about going this route but I am glad I did, it's beautiful!!!
  8. For you ladies who plan on wedding on the beach, what kind of shoes are you thinking?
  9. Ok ladies, I was a bit hesitant to go this route but...I found my dream dress at a boutique last week and it was almost $2000, which I was unwilling to spend. I found the same dress on preownedweddingdresses.com, never worn and never altered for $899. I mauled it over for a day or two but just went with it. I just got the dress today and it is BEAUTIFUL!!! I'm an Allure C166 bride!! YAY!!!
  10. They are about 8.5 x 5.5 in. They are really nice. They were having a special where you get 50 for free so I only paid about $6 for shipping. I also had a Living Social voucher that allowed $50 of stuff for $10, so I just ordered some labels that I am using on our travel mugs. I'll let you guys know how those turn out once I receive them.
  11. Just an update- I ended up not attending the ROTB. We were going to camp out the night before but it rained I mean poured the entire day and night. I was still going to brave the storm but I read a lot of reviews that mentioned that there weren't many mermaid/trumpet style dresses, which is what I wanted. Also, I heard that a lot of the women rip and tear the dresses rushing to get in and out of the dresses and I decided it was not worth the helter skeleter...although it would probably make for some great memories.
  12. Thanks so much Daisy...I was pretty sure it wouldn't be an issue but I like to be prepared just in case
  13. Thanks ACW for the steel drums wedding cd idea...didn't even think of that. We have been debating on the violinist but have not decided. I know Lisa said it was nice in her review but I wish they provided samples or video so that we could get an idea of how it sounds.
  14. Wow! I really loved the video but the price is a bit much. Has anyone had any luck finding a good videographer in Jamaica?
  15. May 30, 2012 at Iberostar Rose Hall Suites. On the papework I received it mentions that rates may change but I have been "stalking" this website for a quite some time and I haven't heard it mentioned that the price did change.
  16. I am thinking about bringing our own photographer, has anyone run into any trouble with this? I imagine it should not be a problem as they are paying guests but just curious if anyone has had any issues arise from bringing their own? Thanks!
  17. Hi Ladies! Just curious- does anyone plan on giving their BMs the gift prior to the trip? We are already hauling so much over there I was wondering if it is weird to not present their gifts while there?
  18. Ok! So the STDs were sent out 3 weeks ago. We used an electronic version that provided a link to our wedsite. We've actually had about 20 people book with our travel agent already so that is pretty exciting. I have ordered oversized postcards to use for our welcome booklet cover. (vistaprint of course) I found a great deal on badge holders on ebay- I got 50 for about $10. I have become a stalker at the Dollar Tree...they have really cool things but you just have to look or keep checking back. I have pretty much created my centerpieces for about $5 a table from items at the Dollar Tree. I am still working on making my 150 but as soon as I get there I will post pics. Thanks! Traci
  19. We're getting married there May 30, 2012. I totally understand the stress of choosing a resort, we were back and forth for months trying to find a happy medium between price and experience. In the end we went for experience since most of our guests will be traveling out of the country for the first time. Soo excited!
  20. So, I tried my local Target and they didn't have any. Are you finding them in the dollar bins?
  21. Thanks for the feedback, I'm actually considering taking a gamble and paying with Paypal so if it doesn't work out at least I can open a case with Paypal to get my money back.
  22. Just happened across this thread...I was curious about afloral.com...glad to see that they are worth a shot. Thanks!
