    I didn't even think about giving the bouquet to the oldest couple in attendance, that is nice. I still don't know how I'm going to get over my embarrassment that my FI is going up my dress. I know him, he's going in head first

    Had a conversation with the lovely FI last night about the garter toss. I personally DO NOT want to do this, I am really not looking forward to having him under my dress in front of everyone. Also, because it is a destination wedding most people are traveling with companions so there will be very few singles so I do not really see the point. Is anyone else keeping the garter toss and bouquet toss in?

    LOL vbbbtk you are too funny! Yes I plan on using the aisle runner but I'm not sure if they have anything down where the huppa is set up. All my BMs love the idea of barefoot jewelry but few have asked about burning feet, maybe I'll suggest for them to dig there toes in until they find the cooler sand

    I know...I'm debating. We know a aspiring photographer and videographer, he has done some really good work and he is willing to shoot our wedding and take candid shots of our guest while at the resort for 3 days and we will only need to cover his travel expenses which comes to about $1500. I think that it's a great deal but I'm just nervous that he may miss things. I think if we go that route I will have him study different portfolios so that he is aware of what it is we are looking to do.

    I was really thinking about doing the barefoot jewelry but I keep getting feedback about feet burning in the sand. My wedding isn't until 5 or 5:30 so I am thinking that it will be a little cooler, has anyone gotten any feedback on that?

    This is a great idea but it's sounds like the quality is questionable. Has anyone had any better experiences lately?

    We used ourweddingday.com to create our free wedding website. It has worked out pretty well for us, we used the electronic STD from the website and added a hyperlink to our wedsite. What's nice about it is that people are able to RSVP on the website. We asked for a preliminary headcount so that we can get an idea of who was interested and/or able. Also, another great thing about the site is that it collects their addresses so that we can send them the formal inviations when time.

    I just ordered a dozen rafia fans from Oriental Trading. If I like them I am going to wrap the handle and attach the program to the body of the fan.

    I have been debating this myself but I think it is whatever makes you feel good. You are the bride and you can do whatever you want for this day so take advantage of it
