Hi You confused me a bit....don't they supply the white linen napkins? They charge for that too?! I thought it was supplied to the brides? The part where you say" That way I saved money and kept the white napkins that are on top of my navy blue overlay." Did you mean you kept use of their white napkins? I'm bringing down royal blue table overlays and sashes for my chairs, bows for the wedding, but other than centerpieces, that's about it in terms of decor...what do they supply exactly? THAT'S FREE!? LOL

Hey Lady! Here is what mine will look like.....except it will be royal blue feathers where the black ones are. The table clothes and clothe napkins are provided by the resort....I am bringing Down some extras that I'm having made though, along with matches too. The feathers will have a light in the vase going up....but I'm still playing around with that and the idea of floating candles. I'm favoring the tall vases, thinking of putting in some sort of blue flower or maybe baby's breath with the 3 tier vases. one with sand and a candle holding it, one with water and the candle floating and one with diamond looking rocks or crystals under water with baby's breath but the possiblities are endless.

I'm still waiting for a full, final count per se. So far its about 35 people +6 for the bridal party. I'm bringing down all of my decor mostly. The centerpieces and what goes in them. I'm torn between candles on water or feathers and tall vases. I'm going to order my chair sashes and table runners next week. I haven't thought of anything else I should bring...can ou recommend something I'm forgetting...OHHHHHHH OOT BAGS!!! For programs, I was basically going to go about doing a set up that would be the plan of events for the entire evening. Hopefully I'll know the order of my wedding and how it will be planned...NO ONE WILL EMAIL ME BACK FROM THE RESORT! Its been since Christmas since I've heard from Evangelina and I'm starting to become worried. I've email and emailed...but anyway, I was going to list all of the events in a menu set up and then go from there. I don't really know anything. I don't have menu, NOTHING! Does anyone have the measurements of the beach setting canopy? I wanted to order my material and chair sashes but I don't know what....4 months to go and I'm feeling so stressed!

My mother said something simular, recommended that I grab pashmina's for the ladies but in speaking to the resort, after folks get that alcohol in their systems and start partying, normally folks aren't concerned with cold. My wedding is in early May so I'm hoping its nice out by then.

Y'know, I think you can.....I think they sell real rose petals. I was offering the site that I found because I want blue.....and when I told them that, they didn't have blue and I needed to find something biodegradable and lucked up on royal blue flower petals and fuschia ones as well. I'm so thrilled I could do a pantyless cartwheel!

My hunny's mother passed away when he was 14, and he was very close to his mom and I know he misses her and has said more than once in the past month how she would have loved to have been there....How can I encorporate her memory in our wedding without really telling him. I thought about a candle with and enscription but that seemed like its been done....but not over done...Any ideas?

OH OH OH....Almost forgot, Napkins.....should I bring cloth napkins as well as the printed kind or do they offer those?

Were not super rich, that's for sure. So for the ceremony programs...I know I need to print those before we leave to go down there...how will I know how the events for the evening will go, plus wedding programs are detailed...I'm still working on the details, I feel like I will never have the details nailed down and I dont' want to print them and make a mistake. For the isle, where did you get decor big enough for that? Are they picky as to the type of runner you put down or what would you recommend...They do provide one right? I'm having my bouquest and boutonnieres made from real feel flowers, got the whole bunch for $200 and that includes Mom's corsage, dad, father of groom, groom, 3 groomsmen and 1 ring bearer and 1 flag boy and 3 bouquest for my attendants. Where did you find Maracas? I would love to find some white, pink and royal blue ones. Our colors are Royal Blue and Fushia with a silver lining.

OMG!!! Thank you for telling me about the sky laterns. Yasmina actually told me it was ok and I bought them, but now I have time to return them. I would have been so mad! Well I think some folks are still in the stage of saying they are coming, I'm really counting on 20-30 and that's it.....HOPEFULLY! I don't know how much this wedding is going to cost, were saving but I'm worried we won't have enough money....I'M ACTUALLY TERRIFIED!!!! All in all, decor aside, if you dont' mind my asking, how much did you budget for vs. actual cost.

What were the 2 green and yellow cards that were in the sand in the wedding photos? Also, the hanging white ball laterns, did the resort provide this? I'm probably going to upgrade when I get there as we have the comp package but I think I want the Ultimate as more and more people keep calling my TA and are planning on attending, I'm at 48 now and that doesn't include the wedding party of just six. Could you tell me what they give you, what I should def plan on bringing and what would you do different? I would love to get my hands on royal blue and fuschia (my wedding colors) or even white and I'll dye them myself. Also...another also ..The OOT bags, what would you put in them that you didn't if you had to go back and do it all over again? I'm trying to actually find the bags themselves. Our Dollar Store is stingy! They don't have any good items that I can get creative with. I was thinking of using some clear rubber make up bags that they did have, but they are small....actually like little clutch make up bags so I'm not so sure if that will work being that my welcome OOT bags may have t-shirts in them. S/N I HAVE argued with the outside vendor thing and am happy to announce that I was told that I could use my DJ, they are "sliding" the suggestion that it would be easier if I booked one of my free rooms for him and then he could be a guest.....I'm considering it but not sold. I just want the guy because he is affordable. I was told a $50 fee would be incurred and I agreed to pay that. I threatened to pull my wedding in so many words and I eventually got what I wanted. I'm in no way condoning my actions and encouraging anyone to jump off the bridge with me, I'm just very stubborn.....all of this equates to that tired cliche "bridezilla" but hey....it worked.
