Thanks for your help on timelines, ladies!! Lauren- that makes me breathe a slight sigh of relief that your wedding was in February and had guests book on their own. I was super worried the hotel would be booked, and we definitely can't make sense of reserving a room block since our guests are coming from everywhere from Texas, to California, to Spain! I'll probably just send the invites 6 months in advance and make sure guests book as we receive RSVPs. Thank you!

I just started looking for dresses last month (My wedding is February 25, 2012) and the dress I loved just happened to be a nearly perfect sample. So my consultant offered to let me just buy the sample, which saved me 25% and saved me time!

Agreed with the rest of the girls, I can't wait to see pictures, M1984!! Glad to hear everything went so well!!! Has anyone else met the new WC, Fatima?? I have been emailing with her back and fourth. So far she has been quick to reply and pretty nice.

I forgot to add, I went with WedIdeas for my flowers. They are silk but very natural looking. I love orchids, and total designed everything around them. That's the one thing I didn't want to compromise..

Sarah, did you try astromelias?? They come in a ton of colors and are tropical looking.

I've received a reply from someone from the same email as Esman used. No name at the end though so I don't know who I'm talking to.... I expressed to them I was disappointed. I have read some issues you ladies have had with Esman, but I loved him. I even received a preliminary contract last week! And my wedding isn't until 2/25/2012! He was definitely on it with me.... Scared to see who is coming in next.. Staying as positive as can be!!

Hey ladies, This was the inspiration for my centerpieces. WedIdeas is doing the majority of my flowers so I'm having her also do the orchid strands ($6.50 each, 2 per centerpiece) and have asked dreams to recost without flowers, which for a twig in some rocks BETTER not be ridiculously priced. But who am I kidding...

I have the pictures on my work computer, so I'd have to post them another time. They have orchids, which is not a local flower, hence the more expensive price. But Esman quoted me more than the usual cost of bouquets/centerpieces for that reason! I didn't want to compromise on this as I have my heart set on orchids, so I am working with someone else for all flowers. Kind of defeats the purpose of having a destination wedding at an all inclusive with a wedding package! But like I said I'm not willing to compromise on this...

I just got an email too! That Esman is no longer there.. I can't say it's surpriseing, but at least that explains the crazy change in price!

Hi Ladies On the suject of getting different prices from Esman, I think I have everyone beat!! I just HAVE to vent!! I sent him a picture of the bouquet and centerpieces i wanted, and he came back to me with an extra $75 for my bouquet, and $75 each for my centerpiece, which is fine Fast forward a couple weeks and I made a color change to the centerpiece and he asked for the picture again (why he doesn't keep important things like this on file I don't know...) and emails me that the cost is $300 for my bouquest and $350 EACH centerpiece!!! I think i had a heart attack!!!!!! That's is so insane! I wrote him a stern email back (I didn't want to seem absutely livid- which I was!!!) asking why i was quoted this then and now this insane price!!!!!! I am now scrambling getting an outside person to do it for me. How ridiculous. Thank God my wedding isn't until February! I couldn't imagine if this happened a month before!!! I'm definitely going to much more tough with him than I was originally, because I never had a reason to be on the defensive, until now. Geez louise....
