saranik22 that is funny. Those MJ boys, they'll get ya. lol We are planning November this year. Its getting to the time crunch though so I need to decide asap. Im still torn between Ocean Turquesa and Grand sunset Princess. 2 very different resorts but both really reasonably priced and beautiful

Time is moving by so fast Hi saranik22 Ya I live just outside Edmonton, my fiance is actually from Moosejaw though so we will have alot of fam and friends flying out of Regina as well. What travel agent are you using? Ive talked to a few and gotten quotes but ... I dont know if this is a good idea but I think we will be booking through bookit.com. It looks like the best prices and i hope it will work out. When is your wedding and have you booked already at the Ocean Turquesa??

Congats AlbertaCarrie Thank you so much for your review and info on your wedding. I have been juggling with the decision of where to book my upcoming wedding but I keep coming back to the Grand sunset princess. I recieved some info from the resort but I am still a bit confused with the wedding packages. does it work out ok having the time limits on the reception? does anyone have any suggestions as to what kind of reception to go for. I am really laid back and dont mind making my own reception anywhere we can find music But can that work? Please advise

I am also looking into having my wedding at the OCT, It looks fabulous! I have emailed the resort and still havent heard back from them in regards to wedding packages. Also Im finding with the resorts there are alot of extra costs with having the reception and different dance party's. What is your suggestions to have a simple wedding but still have something a little structured for the one day?
