Hello Everyone, I just wanted to say thank you for all of your suggestions and advice. I have used every single comment, thread, etc and they have all worked. After my frustrating week last week I finally heard from my Moon Palace coordinator, Kalena. Yayyyyy! And I finally sent a list of questions to Kalena, as someone had suggested (sorry I can't remember who), and once I did I heard from Kalena, with an apology and all of my questions answered. As most of you who commented earlier, she is awesome and organized. Now she's ready to go with more planning and I'm not...lol. I'm not sure why they don't send the things she sent to me by email, earlier in the process, but maybe it's because a lot of the items would be subject to change if you are getting married, say 6 months from now. But I really think it would have been helpful in the early planning stages if I had the options earlier. If anyone is getting married in the next 6 months and needs to see a list of what's included in the complimentary package and the options I can send that to you. Just PM me with your name and email address. Just as an F.Y.I I actually had a great experience with my Miami coordinator, Michelle Farinas, she has been awesome to work with and responds to my emails always the same day, from the beginning she's been really receptive, but it was the opposite in the beginning when it came to the Moon Palace wedding coordinator. And yes, they have a lot of weddings they do each day but just one email saying you will get back to me would have been helpful and would have circumvented a lot of my stress:) Also, if anyone is reading this and they want the clear crystal starfish in their bouquet, most of the dates in 2011 are gone, but check the thread to see if yours is still available. I ended up buying mine online from thebridalbouquet.com. Also, by the way if anyone is interested in using orange and fuschia for your wedding, which I am, and so did mochamakes3, gorgeous, gorgeous, mocha, I am sooo impressed by your creativity, there's an orange and fuschia forum on here, so wish I had found it earlier but it's never too late. 72 days and 17 pounds to go....lol. Wow, okay i will try not to worry. Thank you sooo much. I think I'm just beginning to feel overwhelmed. Everyone on here is so supportive and so helpful:) I did hear from my Miami coordinator today by phone, which was unusual and she tried to connect me directly by phone to Kalena but with no success. I'm getting married on August 13th, when is your wedding?

Terpgurl I have Kalena as well but I haven't heard from her at all yet and I am very concerned. Any suggestions?

I was thinking the same thing, because we really don't have that many guests, so we will probably only have one long table as well. Plus I feel it makes for a more intimate wedding reception which is the reason why we chose a destination wedding in the first place. We're not sure yet, but we probably won't go the traditional route by having placecards.

Congratulations!! So beautiful:) I'm just hoping that mine comes out as well as yours. Love the Just Married umbrella just not sure if I could pull it off quite like you. Unfortunately I have waited until the last minute to do a lot of my planning and now I'm worried. I get married on August 13th and I still haven't picked out my colors. I really didn't think it would be that difficult and now I'm having problems getting in touch with Kalena, my wedding coordinator. I've heard others complain about the same on this forum so I'm trying not to worry. I dont' even know what sites are available now for the ceremony or the reception at this point. I'm getting daily responses from my Miami coordinator, Michelle Farinas, but still no response from Kalena. I'm trying not to be too frustrated but a lot is riding on whether its a beach or gazebo ceremony, particularly the colors I will choose, how I will have my dress hemmed and whether I will be wearing high heels or not.

Is anyone using Sprouillie Designs for their invitations? I absolutely love the boarding pass invitations. Just wondering...they are booked until April 15th and I've tried reaching them by email, so far no response. Hoping to hear from them soon.

Hello Everyone! I wanted to introduce myself. I am getting married at the Moon Palace on Saturday August 13th at 3p for anyone who will also be there on the same day. I have been reading the blogs on this site for at least 2 weeks now but just signed up the other day. The advice and information has been absolutely on target. I dont' feel like I could be planning this wedding without it. Thank you everyone for all of your comments, thoughts, ideas and advice. I feel so behind compared to everyone else but I am now getting organized and I am ready to make a plan.
