Everybody knew that they were all in my wedding it was all kind of assumed when I got engaged but i absolutely fell in love with these and felt I had to order them and send them to my girls in the mail!!! Especially for the little ones!! They went into the mail today so hopefully they will all have them by the end of the week!!

I have been battling the idea of favors. I am doing great Oot bags and originally thought favors at the actual reception would just be too much. I am now having second thoughts. I am asking all of my guests to take time off from work and fly hours away for me so I think they also deserve a favor!! I am really trying to incorporate "Jamaica" into my wedding. Jamaica is known for Reggae, Their Language, Jerk, and Rum. I really would like to have one of these items represented as my wedding favor but in an elegant manner and I am absolutely stumped with no ideas at all. I know nips of rum could be tasteful but I really don't want to do that as we are staying at an all-inclusive resort and I really want something that is more elegant like........ SO PLEASE BRING ON ALL OF YOUR GREAT IDEAS!! There are many unique and wonderful women on this website and you have all helped greatly in the beginning stages of my planning!!! Please help some more!!! Can't wait to hear what you all have to say!!

I ordered Will you be my bridesmaid cookies from user "cookiemamas" on Etsy. They are absolutely great to work with! They got my cookies to me in NO time!!! Here are how they came out with the cards I made for each of my bridesmaids, maid of honor, junior bridesmaid and flower girl!! Each card had a personalized message inside telling them why I chose them to be a part of my wedding and a picture from our childhood together!!

Just in the planning stages of my Negril, Jamaica wedding! I was wondering how everybody is actually booking their weddings? Are you going directly through the resort or are you calling a travel agent and having all of your guests go through that agent also? Please post about your feelings and experiences!!

That is actually SO true that is the one thing I am worried about is transporting them not just them but EVERYTHING! I hate that the resort will not let me ship anything but I guess it will be much less to just pay for the extra suitcase then pay for shipping to Jamaica.

Beaches Resort Negril, Jamaica After a month of switching my colors around I have finally decided! My FI and I have decided on all whites, Ivory's, and light green! We thought the nice simple whites would compliment the ocean background beautifully. OOT Bag Ideas: (Open for ideas): Oot bags will be white with a logo printed on the front. (Not a reusable bag) Filled with white tissue paper 1) Kiehls vital sun protection lotion SPF 30 (1 per bag) 2) Kiehls deluxe hand & body lotion with Aloe & Oatmeal (1 per bag) 3) Grandma Lulus sand dollar cookies (15 per bag) in cellophane bags 4) Light green rock candy wrapped up in clear baggies 5) Personalized Travel Mugs for the all-inclusive drinks! I have decided that I am going to have white peonies, hydrangea's, and roses for my flowers. Tons of them everywhere! I am actually looking into real touch flowers and would love input about these flowers and how they actually feel/look in person.... I am getting personalized pashminas for each women attending the ceremony. These are going to be white and embroidered with there first name in a caramel color and will be on the back of their chair at the ceremony! The invitations are going to be made by papermints.com That is a sample of what our invitation will look like! Any ideas are welcome. I am still in the beginning stages of planning and i LOVE all of the input!

My FI, my mother, my *second* mother, and I are all taking a trip down to Jamaica before the wedding! This trip is booked for Jan. 2012 anything anybody recommends to do? I am going to get a hair and makeup trial done because this one thing that I am concerned about. Another thing we are doing is hiring a photographer to do engagement photos down there also. I am really looking for any other ideas. We are of course going to meet with the coordinators to talk to them but is there anything that you wish you could of done before the wedding but just couldn't because you weren't actually in Jamaica?

I LOVE the temporary tattoo idea!! Where are you getting them done?!? I think that would be a GREAT addition to my bags! I am hauling everything down there in suitcases! I know my FI and I are going to ten days to Beaches and we are going to pack in one suitcase! Haha I have NO idea how it is going to happen but it has too! My mother and my father are taking the same flight down as us so of course I am going to make them take a suitcase full of all of my things! I hate that we are not allowed to ship things down the the beaches resort. I have been going back and fourth about doing flip flops for everyone. I am thinking just the bridal party for the reception afterward. I feel that forty pairs of flip flops are going to weigh a lot. I have also come up with the idea to make door hangers to put into the welcome bags. This way it is a bit easier for people looking for each other. It will have our last name and wedding on it I have been trying to find a good place to get them personalized and if I can't find anything I may just make my own!! What kinds of candy is everyone bringing down? I fell in love with the godiva starfish chocolates and the godiva open shell chocolates but I am so worried about the shipping of them down in a suitcase! So what are the types and how are you transporting those things?

Yes, It is a long time.... but I am just thinknig of it as I have plenty of time to really think through everything that I want to make everything perfect!! Although I honestly can not wait!!!

This information is GREAT! I have been debating back and forth on travel mugs or custom koozies and I think my question is answered! It seems the travel insulated mugs will be great for my guests getting drinks at the bar!! They won't have to return to the bar as often because I am guessing that they give you small drinking cups!

I am just starting to think about my oot bags and I want them to be simply perfect for my guests. I have across millions of ideas and have taken them all in and come up with my own but I am still looking for some great ideas to add-on or change my list. I have decided that I love the look of the palm bags although the beach bags are nice with the monograms and screen printing, I want my guests to be able to use them timeand time again and I'm not sure if they will if my FI and my names are plastered across them! Have just booked my Beaches Negril, Jamaica for June 2, 2013!! I know it is a long way away but I will have a extra long time to make everything perfect. From looking at the threads on here there is a lot of work ahead of me! It's awful but I am already thinking about my welcome bags and pre-wedding binders with luggage tags to hand out before we leave!
