  1. We are having children at our wedding but my FI's brother did not.. Their wedding was local and they wanted the adults to be able to "enjoy" themselves and not have to worry about taking care of children. I am guessing this is most people's reasoning. I'm really not sure though!! It also blows my mind because the more kids the merrier at our wedding!! They make everything so much more fun!!
  2. Very Very Nice!! Are you ordering this or are you attempting to make it?!?
  3. Well it was an easy choice for me... First I looked everywhere in the states for an all-inclusive resort. I mean EVERYWHERE!! Let me be the first to tell you that they don't exist!! So then I moved on to the islands!! The Beaches Resort in Negril is the most child friendly resort I could find!!! Although I don't have children, children are a HUGE part of my family!! I have three nieces and one nephew and many many children that are nephews and close close family friends!! This resort has a water park, lazy river, the beach, an x-box arcade, sesame street outings throughout the day!! It was just a perfect match for what I was looking for. I really wanted an all-inclusive so that I didn't have to have my guests worrying about money on their vacation and my older nieces (12 & 16) Can hang out around the resort and not really have to worry about carrying around money if they are hungry!!! What I would do if make a list of what is MOST important to you about the resort... I.E. 1) On The Beach 2) Allows Children or No Children Allowed 3) All-Inclusive or Self-Pay Then type those into a google search and see what pops up!! If you are not looking for an all-inclusive resort Bermuda is BEAUTIFUL!! Just not really any all-inclusive!!! That is where me and my future hubbie are going on our "short" honeymoon!!
  4. Yeah, that was what I figured I didn't think they made actual labels that long!! Oh well!!
  5. Very cool!!! I love the images that you used in this mailing!!! Can you send me a PM with the graphics? I especially love the graphic of the beach with the plane overhead!!
  6. I think it more depends on what you actually do for the wedding!! You could do all of the extras and still make it cost efficient!! My parents are putting in a HUGE chunk for our wedding so we lucked out!! But you can wheel and deal the resorts down there!! Say you paid for your room - had the "free" wedding on the beach!! Which includes ceremony & such and instead of having a "private reception" which I wouldn't be having if it were solely up to me my FI wants one.. you could have dinner in one of the restaurants because most of the resorts are all-inclusive!! See if they can schedule a place where you can have cake cutting and a first dance!! A lot of the resorts have things going on at night and sometimes have what they call block parties!! Ask the coordinator at the resort to co-inside your day and time with a block party so that after the ceremony and dinner you can all go and party!!!!
  7. Thanks for re-posting this!!! I love it!!!! Do you mind me asking what you are using for the actual label itself? Like what brand etc. & where you are getting it.. Staples, Walmart?!?

  13. I went to my pier-one out here and they didn't have any of these I think I am going to try the pier one a few towns over!! Quote: Originally Posted by J-me Going great thanks! I'm thinking we may use them for the cake table? Might even incorporate them into the centerpieces....
  14. I agree with this!! Fall colors will look BEAUTIFUL on the beach with the ocean as a backdrop!! Pick what YOUR heart wants don't let people tell you otherwise!! I almost did and I am so happy that I said NO I am doing what I want!! I originally chose Tiffany's blue and coral and just was NOT happy with the decision but everybody around me was. Finally I changed it up with WHITE!! With small accents of coral!! It is MY wedding and I am doing it how I want!!! I think that the white will look so pure on the beach with the turquoise waters as a backdrop!!
  15. A little spin on the coral!! Originally I wanted coral as the main dress color with white as the accent but fell in love with these little babies!! Still incorporating the coral!!
  16. http://www.heirloomhourglass.com/catalog/i307.html this is where I got it from!! It is SO super cute in person but if you have a young flower girl I do not recommend it as it is a bit heavy my 4 year old niece is able to handle it just fine!! It ended up costing I believe $42 and same changed with shipping and handling!!
  17. Everything is white!! Except my flower girls dress, the sashes on my bridesmaid dresses, the ribbons on my bridesmaids shell bouquets, and the writing on the white pashminas!!!
