@ shan0487 I honestly felt the same way.. I was going to make them myself in publisher or something.. but then I fell in LOVE with the font on these postcards and I could not find it for the life of me. I honestly think she made it in adobe photoshop like pulled the letters out longer in some places..?!? IDK!! So in my mind i justified it!! HAHA!! And the FI has no idea about our budget!! He just looks at stuff and says "Oh that's nice" haha!!

Here are pictures of our flower girl basket which will be filled with white roses and our shell for our ring bearer which will be filled with sand and the rings will rest on top!!

I am also going to be bringing down chocolate coral, sand dollars, starfish and shells and I am actually going to package them with ice packs in a carry cooler that people bring their lunches in... IDK Hopefully it will work!! If not I will have a plain white cake!! Oh well!

@ LindsayR CONGRATULATIONS!!! I have been taking the planning process so "lightly"!! No stress that is why I also gave myself so long to plan the wedding!! It is also great to have so much time because you can really focus in on each aspect of your wedding individually instead of everything as a whole and rush over it so quickly!!! I have been getting a lot of my DIY projects out of the way that I am able to so there will be no down to the wire!! Like my Save The Dates will not go out until Jan. 2012 but I know how many I will need, my dates, and my location so those can be made now!!!!! I changed my colors a TON at the beginning of my planning!! It happens when you start researching and finding out what you really like as appose to what you thought that you liked!! My one word of advice which I am SO HAPPY I found out so early in my planning process... is to pick what you LIKE and don't let ANYBODY not your mom, sisters, friends etc., etc. persuade you into changing your mind! I had everyone tell me I could not do a "white" wedding.. So I changed my mind and was doing coral & Tiffany's blue but deep down I wanted coral and white.. Well I finally changed it to white and coral and decided it's my wedding not theirs!!! I know you are getting married in Mexico & I am in Jamaica but I am so excited there is someone else for June 2013!!!!! I'm not alone anymore!!!! If you have any questions or you need to vent!! @ Agreco Thanks so much for all of your input!! Everything is so confusing!! Geeze they want $250.00 per "item" you want set up?!? So in my case I am purchasing pashminas for the ladies to put on the backs of their chairs at the ceremony with their names embroidered that would cost me $250.00, then I am also bring down fans for all of the guests that would also be $250.00?? Then if I make programs and bring my own centerpieces those are both again $250.00 a piece? Yikes!!! If that is the case I guess it does add up QUICK!!!! I have been really thinking about about the steel drum band but $600.00 an hour is killing me... I feel like that is SO expensive?? But it is in the islands I keep saying to myself I need a steel drum band!! I believe I am doing the sit down reception for $75.00 per person.. My FI really wants and sit and eat and dance with his mother.. like a real wedding.. but I was actually told by a great bride on here that it is discounted $15.00 once you hit the ten room mark so it is actually only $60.00.. and I don't think they are going to kick us out after 3 hours we are going to be outside anyways right? I am also wondering about the photographers... and it is driving my crazy... I really want a photographer the entire day of my wedding. In my room while the girls get ready, for the ceremony, and the reception! And we are going to be doing a catamaran cruise which I would also love the photographer present for... Is this at all possible with the photographers at the resort?? Or for this do I need to bring my own photographer??

Not sure if you have done your actual invites or not yet but I found some adorable ones that have a postcard as an RSVP!! See how the back is actually perforated to rip off and is a postcard to send back to you? I saw these in a blog and actual asked a women on here to make them for me who is into graphics design and she said they would only be about $2.50 or so a card!!!

Thank you *SO* much!! I am so happy with the way they turned out!! I just made my final payment for them and actually they were not priced bad at all. I had been looking everywhere for inexpensive save the dates & invites and I found these little babies on etsy for $1.50 per invite!! All together for 100 invites it cost $180.00 that is $1.80 per save the date!! $1.50 per invitation - $10.00 shipping & $20.00 design fee!!!

Your "cards" came out AWESOME BTW!!! I love the silhouettes!! I see all of these projects and just think to myself.... YUP!! I can never do that!! Haha I end up paying for everything.. I guess I'm a sucker but I love all of the DIY ideas I get to look at!! Great Great Great Job!! Can not wait to see what you have in store for us!!

Lauren just got back to me and.... she said you need about 4 -5 shirts or so to get the hang of it... but it all depends on the temp of your iron... it can't be too hot!! Hope that helps out a little!! Hers came out AWESOME so her advice must be good!
