Hey ladies! I know there are three different riu hotels in the cancun hotel zone. The riu caribe (where I am saying I do!) The riu cancun and the riu las americans. We all share the same ex so I thought it would be nice to get togeher and share! I know personally I have questions about cocktail hour the reception and dancng afterwards. Id love to hear from my fellow riu brides!

Thanks JAYKAY & 82turtles! I did notice the mistake thankfully before I uploaded them to FedEx Office for printing, but not until after I posted it on here lol. I made the tags using both powerpoint and word. Unfortunately there is not really a template, but i'll try and explain how I made them to the best of my ability. So pretty much you start with a blank slide in powerpoint. Then I inserted the beach scene as my background by going to file insert picture (We are using this picture to label most of our items and it was also the picture on our save the dates.) Then I inserted individual text boxes for each of the words on the page. Example To get Thank on the page I went to file insert Text box typed Thank and placed it where I liked it. I did this for each of the texts on the tag. Then you simple file and save this slide as a jpeg. This will be the front of your card and you then start a blank slide of the back of your card. I Then just inserted blank text boxes for the wording on the back. You then do the same thing and save this as a jpeg. Next open word, and I wanted these to be the size of a business card so I opened the custom business size blank page. You then insert the jpegs into the blank business card slots. The all I did was upload this to fedEx Office and had them print them and I picked them up today! : ) hope this helps! If you have any more questions feel free to ask!

I know! we are doing one per plate so they are so cheap I just went ahead and ordered! LOL our wedding is not until July 28th 2012! I am a crazy super planner bride and I want every thing done way in advance so I don't worry and can relax months before the wedding lol. I over ordered, but I figure what ever I don's use we can always post on here for another bride to find! : )

Hi LisaandJeff! So I pretty much live by this diet. Its more of a lifestyle change but I have no problem keeping up with it. Has anyone tried or heard of the Abs diet?? I live by it!!! Its pretty much a healthy eating plan very easy to incorporate into a busy brides schedule! I don't really want to loose weight just tone up, and this diet has done both I lost 10 lbs in a month (all body fat) I am on my way to hot abs for our wedding week! : )

Hello Ladies.... I am having what i like to call a shoe melt down! I have no clue what to do. I see shoes and I look at them and think there is no way that will look okay with my dress. Heres my dress pictured below. I think flip flops might make it look tacky and cheap. I considered barefoot sandals but I think they may look weird also. I do not want to do heals because I only like them very high ( like a 3 or 4 inch) and that would make me taller than my fiance which I do not want to do! I am at a shoe loss!! Any help would be amazing! Am I the only one out there having this problem!?

I actually purchased my dress when I thought I was going to have a wedding at home. I love it so much there is no way I am going to change it. I will most likely be hot, but for the dress I am willing to suffer! Its only going to be for the 20 min ceremony some pictures then cocktail hour and the reception will be inside with air conditioning so I am not too concerned.

I ordered my real touch flowers from wedideas.com my bridal bouquet of 20 calla lillys and 6 calla lillys for each of my 5 bridesmaids. I custom designed and planned exactly what i wanted the stems will be showing with white ribbon wrap on each of them with a real pearl seam. And the price was great! Hopes this helps!

Hello everyone! So I just had to share this find with everyone.... Just Placed my order! I am getting the Medium Maracas in assorted colors. One will be placed on each guests plate at our reception dinner. We are making tags that say something along the lines of "instead of tapping on your glass, heres a system with Mexican class. Stand and Shake with all your might, to see the groom kiss this bride tonight!" (borrowed saying from Shelbygirl Thanks!) the saying will be attached with a nice ribbion. And the Maracas are only 1.65 per pair so who could resist?! : )

My wedding isnt until July 28th 2012 so I have plenty of time to decide on some (i'll need probably around 50 to 80) I also found some on ebay 20.00 for 50 personalized ones! I might go that direction...I'm not 100% sure yet! lol Traceysteve... I now do the same thing! It was so frustrating having all these beers in the fridge and no opener! I learned my lesson! lol
