  14. So where to start on this one.... I am a super planner. Our wedding is July 28th, 2012 at the hotel Riu Caribe. A little over a year away. I have had the wedding booked for months, I bought my dress like a week after I got engaged, We have flowers bridesmaids dresses, save the dates went out a while ago, have been buy OOT bag items since we decided on a DW. Okay so you get it I like to get things done way ahead of time. Needless to say when I found out my bridesmaids and wonderful MOH (my sister) began planning my bridal shower I was thrilled! It makes me feel so special like they actually care and are really excited to be a part of my special day. We are having a traditional bridal shower just as if we were getting married at home. With that being said I needed to start my bridal shower planning lol. I will be using my bridal shower as my trial run for a lot of things. I am getting all my waxing done a day or so before. Getting my eye lash extensions I am going to be doing my own hair and make up so I want to give these a good trial run, and my bridal shower is the perfect time for this! I have found two dresses I love and I just can not pick which one to go for! I love them both is differnt ways! So I would love to hear from all of you lovely ladies! Your opinions are valued!! Thanks so much! Dress1: Dress2: Thouughts?
  15. Yikes! This might be the definition of awkward! I think that if I was in this situation I personally would not be able to go up to someone face to face and say hey your not in my wedding! I do think I would ever have the courage to do something like that. Maybe write a letter to her? Or Email? If you do this you can still be kinda nice about it you are not faced with that terrible awkwardness of face to face addressing something like this, and she will finally get the kind of obvious point of the fact that you have grown apart and will not be in your wedding. I mean if you only see each other rarely then what more harm really could be done? People grow up and apart its part of life! Don't let that add extra stress to your wedding planning! : ) Hope everything works out for you!
  16. Yeah...I did a lot if research way ahead of time and I actually checked prices for an entire year in advanced down to one month in advanced. Most places even the actual riu website you can not book until 8 months in advanced. The first travel agent we had quoted us an absurd amount. We have stayed at this exact hotel we are getting married in so I am well aware of re cost of flight and airfair. My new travel agent told me do not even bother booking until at exactly one year in advanced she is much more honest with me and answering my questions. They work direct with the hotel to get you a quote. I was able to book the hotel without booking my stay with out a problem. I was a bit concerned about not getting the dates all lined up but the riu has over 500 some rooms so im not really worried about rooms being sold out. As far as flight im not too worried if we have to fly a few ezra days before we originally planneed we r okay with that but I have been assured by travel agents and the hotel if I wait until even 6 months in advanced there will be no problem!
