Thanks guys! I agree! I think it actually is better in the long run. Just frustrating to change everything out. Especially asking people to change their work schedules to accommodate! Ah well. Everything happens for a reason! Hopefully all will work out

Well! I just had a nice wrench thrown into my wedding! Our tour operator decided there was no flights on the dates we picked so now EVERYTHING is changed!! ahhhhhhh No longer a Nov 30 bride...now a Dec 5 bride! Sigh...i'm just glad we were able to move everything and everyone was still cool with it. I'll lose some money in some of the things i've purchased/printed with our wedding date on it - but oh well...at least its not the official invites!!

thanks Tlseege! I had no idea there was limits about bringing personal stuff. This is gonna be difficult!! Everything from centerpieces to favors to OOT bag stuff I guess i'll be asking a lot of my people to bring stuff down for me...grrrr You would think that when ur hauling a wedding gown off the plane - its kind of a dead giveaway as to why you're there - lol

Ooooo yes! let me know how it all works for you! I'm going to need to figure out details on getting there and back with our photographer. I know you can get a cab there easily but what about on the way back? It could be hours! can't exactly tell the guy to wait either..lol We're looking at going to one of these: Cenote Kantunchi , Cenote Azul, or Hidden Worlds I dont really want to go to the Gran Cenote - its very touristy and busy - would rather go to the quieter ones

Good to know yeemein! We're planning on going to a cenote outside of the resort - I'm hoping we won't run into the same problems - but from other TTD pics i've seen at cenotes -I've taken note which ones they are so hopefully all is well

Great review!!! and awesome pics! Just out of curiosity - for those of you ladies from Canada who got married first before you went to Mexico - how close to the wedding did you make it legal at home? I know if you're having the symbolic ceremony down there they don't need to see any documentation but just wanted to make sure.

Hi ladies - do you meet with the minister at all before the ceremony? Just to get a general idea of how it flows etc? My FI and I are thinking of doing our own personal vows - so it would be nice to have this organized ahead of time...

Bah - don't cut him - no need - Tlseege is right! Uneven is the new thing these days anyway...i have 4 bridesmaids and only 2 groomsmen - and that was planned! ha! well sort of...my hunny just doesn't really have anyone to stand up with him but i didn't care - i wasn't cutting my ladies to make it even. It is what it is! and your photog will be able to play with it and make it look good no matter what.

Hiya ladies! I just got the email from Arrecife asking about photo-packages that I may want to book over and above our 'free' photos that come with the wedding package. The thing is..we're bringing our own photographer down and i really dont want Arrecife's photogs to get in his way...i really dont care about the free pics. What should I do? Should i just email back and say thanks but no thanks? I dont want to advertise that we're bringing our own because the hotel is very sticky about this..but they're bound to find out anyway on the wedding day! I know that they can't really do anything if he's a paying guest at the hotel..i just dont want to ruffle any feathers until i absolutely have to.. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Ya- the whole 1st class thing enticed me too - but then I realized Id miss out on all the fun of flying with the rest of my family and friends as we're all departing from Calgary together. With the way things are going with AC these days I would just rather put my wedding group in someone elses hands But thats just me
