Hey there! I am also a September bride, September 16 to be exact at dreams Punta Cana. have to admit the weather has been playing on my alot lately. Hope it doesn't rain the entire time we're there. As for the photographer I book hdc they have great reviews. you can look them up and their prices are extremely reasonable. BTW where are you getting your flowers I want bougainvilleas but was told they are not alot during the september month. happy last minute planning as we are now down to the 2 month mark.

Ladies I took a 1 week break and really need to get back on. the holidays just totally knock me off my workout. but will resume later. really need to tone up I've now hit the month mark. the clock is ticking.

Congrats Alykay, sounds like everythings went well. I would love to see pics of your wedding and probe you as it regards the wedding timeline. I also have a time slot of 4pm and trying to figure out how to plan things as everything flows nicely. Did you have a cocktail after the ceremony.

Justine I completely understand where you're coming from, I would maybe have a bottle of wine delivered to their rooms. Or alternatively I notice another bride instead of doing an entire OOT bag decided just to give each guest a travel mug and stuck a welcome letter and some basic medication.

If am not mistaken keycards come in standard size same as credit cards. so you can measure that to be sure. I got the horizontal ones only because I order them from a bride here and that's what she had. I place my credit card in it and it fit perfectly only thing I think add other things to the holder can make it a bit difficult to remove as the ziplock closure is a tad smaller in width. but it not a big issue.

So I totally forgot to show you guys our invitations. Started working on these the minute we chose our Hotel, then procrastination set in and it took a back seat, then I wasn't liking it then it was know what let's get this thing out of the way. That last part thanks to Canada post for threaten to strike I finally finished it and mailed some of these babies out Yay!!!. then post canada actually went on strike and hand delivery became an option and surprisingly people appreciated it been hand delivered than receiving it in the post. So eventually I fell in love with it all over again after getting so many compliments. Don't want to sound "cocky" for lack of a better term , but this pic (taken with my Phone) doesn't do justice. but here it is anyways. My goodness I always have a story it seems. ok ok am gonna lay low for you guys to take back this forum. Again let's see what you've all been up to am dying to know.

Thanks for all the input guys... I think i'll just dress it up with jewelry it says enough on it's on. As for veil, the one thing I was sure I didn't want if I ever got married was a veil. so out with tradition on that one and yea to hair flower, if only i can decide on pink or white. The chores of being a bride and picking flowers for hair, the weird thing is I just finished picking some colours for a kitchen design we're working on here at the office it took me all but 5 mins and I can't even pick a color for a flower. Ooh well on to the next thing...designing our wedding programs. So what are you September lovelies working on these days?

So guys here is a pic of me and my dress, I bought this dress on sale $500 without trying it on about 3 months ago in toronto. Finally made the 5 1/2 hours trip to try it on, here is the end result. What do you guys think? My initial reaction was great but I think it is missing something but it have all these ruffles in it i think if I add anything more to it, it would be overkill. would welcome some suggestions. ...ignore my facial expression...LOL

Good for you Kabee...stick to your guns. I also when there when I was dress shopping their customer service really needs help. but so happy they eventually transferred the deposit. Yes you're right the minute time people here wedding they think you automatically had a money tree growing in your back yard and the more you pick the money it flowers money, really it just get me annoyed. ooh well hooray for beating them at their game.

after reading through these comments I really am now considering doing a boudoir shoot. I am very self conscious and the though of it just scared me back into my shell. but It's now way up on my to do list for this wedding. Thanks guys

we are also doing OOT bags and giving out at the resort. so far my additions are flip flops, key holders, and first aid kits. Travel mugs still to be added (should really order soon) and welcome letter. I am officially on the planning. On another note, gonna get fitted for my dress this weekend, I am looking forward to it and dreading it at the same time. happy to finally see this dress that i bought blindly on sale for $500 without trying on and yet so nervous I will not like it because although I've tried on dresses in a similar style I am yet to try and feel this dress. wish me luck guys.
