The career thing has A LOT to do with it. I've got some thinking to do.

I already have a hyphenated name - so this will be like my third last name! the kids would have his name. It's not a problem for most ladies I know who have kept their name and their kids have their husbands name - no problem during travel or anything.

Another thing - speaking of signatures and new names. I'm still not 100% sure I want to change my name - my FI is very upset by this. I do have my reasons behind it which are valid and he recognizes this but he doesn't like that I'm considering NOT changing my name. Anyone else running into an issue about this?

Awwwwwwww don't think that. It's tough....I think a lot of us have had to deal with weird family drama regards to DW. Keep your head up. I know it must be very disappointing for you to not have any of your own side at your wedding. I imagine your sister feels just awful and handled it poorly by emailing you. She probably wouldn't be able to call you and not been emotional about it. That's what happened with my MOH. I can relate to you very much. Focus on the positive - I'm sure your family loves you very much and would love to be there if possible. Not to be super lame sauce and a cheese ball, but cinderella arrived in her carriage alone too. do you have a very dear friend that could give you away? maybe your MOH....that would be such a super special thing actually
