I got our bridal party Tiffany Starfish Earrings, Ralph Lauren Beach towels, and tanks made with their name and role from www.bridalpartytees.com. Body wash/lotion sets from bath and body works. For the guys they got personalized flasks and NFL shirts with their favorite team and we bought their ties for the wedding. Moms got tshirts and a spa robe. My dad got a flask too, hankerchief with a dad/daughter message and an NFL t-shirt.

Ok cool, yea my airline only charges $25 for each checked item under 50lbs so I think a box is the best way to go. We have mini rum cakes and snacks that we ware putting in our bags so that's why we couldn't ship them ahead of time. Thanks ladies, glad to know other people are going to be checking boxes too!!

I am soooo not crafty. I hate anything crafty and would MUCH rather pay someone to do it all for me Etsy has been the most amazing creation ever, haha.. My colors are tiffany blue, orange, brown and white with Starfish. We are getting married in Jamaica on 9-10-11 so I wanted everything bright and tropical. Soooo... We can't ship anything to the resort so I was just wondering how everyone else is getting the oot bag items to their resorts? FI and I think we are going to just pack everything in a box (all is less than 50lbs) and check it for the additional $25 our airline charges. Is that what everyone else is probably doing too? We figured a box so that we could just pitch it when we got there instead of a suitcase we would have to try and pack on for the trip back..I'm also wondering if we should keep the box and ship the items back like my bouquet (silk), unity sand frame, and cake topper. Shipping back won't be a problem since there will be no food in it. (we couldn't ship there since we have food in our oot bags and they would have to go through customs if shipped)..

@MrsAprilDewees- I suggest you hold off on booking a restaurant, you may not even be able to book this early. Their restaurants aren't all open all the time so she may tell you to wait closer to your date to pick a restaurant. Also, don't get worried about returning emails. They are super busy but usually take about 2 weeks to answer mine and my wedding is 75 days away If my email isn't answered within 2 weeks I usually just re-send. @BusyBee123You only have to purchase day passes if you are inviting the hair/make up person to attend the ceremony/reception. You don't have to pay for them to simply come to your room and do their service. I've heard good things from a friend who got married there last year about the hair and make up people. And yes, you can get the trial before as long as you book it.

So I feel like this: I'm gonna be at the beach looking fabulous and you will just have to see the memories on facebook along with everyone else. Before we decided against invites, these are what they were. Since most of our family and friends were already booked for our wedding in Jamaica we decided to not send out invites. So what I did was I took the actual invite and turned it into a thank you letter. Then the inserts on the right side will be the daily activities. So they will be labeled Thursday, Sept. 8th, Friday, Sept. 9th, and Wedding Day. Each insert will just have important info about that day, like what excursion we are doing time for the wedding, etc. I couldn't pass up on using these in some way, they are just too gorgeous. They will be sitting on the bed with the welcome bags for each guest.

I'm wearing mine in a low messy bun.

I ended up with a birdcage veil. The comb has 3 roses with swarovski crystals and I can detach the "veil" part and just have the flowers for my reception. My dress has lots of detail so I wanted to have something simple up top. :cool:

My gals are wearing long grecian style style dresses in an aqua color so I just told them to wear gold colored jeweled flats..

So I'm natural and I'm going to try some weave for the first time.. I really want to have easy to maintain hair for the week we will be there. My stylist told me she would weave me up until the top of my head then leave my sides and front my own hair.... I'm nervous, Pray for me, lol..
