The buckets were: jpmoore611 (this seller also did the girls champagne flutes) Here is a picture of the tables.. Because it wasn't dark yet when my photog took these you couldn't really tell they had battery operated tea lights under them. But once it got dark outside and we dimmed the lights in the restaurant it looked really pretty.

Decor/Welcome Bags/Stationary: We had a professional make our monograms that went on a few of our wedding items and items in the welcome bags. Pre-Travel Packs.. We sent everyone who was coming a Jamaica Tourism Book, 2 luggage tags each and a brochure I made on VistaPrint. Everyone was already booked from our STD's so we didn't have to send out invites. So we took a gorgeous invite I love and turned it into welcome packets that went in each bag. It was a thank you card on the left and the weekend itinerary on the right. Welcome Bags... Each person got: Beach bag, beach towel, 2 washclothes, snacks, 2 stadium cups, aluminum water bottle, oh shit kit. 3 kids got... beach bags, pail, beach towel, snacks, water bottle. mu Gifts: My attendants got: Tiffany Starfish earrings, tank tops, mug from my favorite blog website, champagne flute, compact mirror. The guys: Armani ties, flasks, Cigars, and NFL shirts with their name on the back. Moms got: Tickets to the WWE (both our moms are in LOVE with wrestling, haha) and these shirts: My dad collects watches so I got him a gorgeous Invicta watch:

So finally back for a couple weeks, got pro pics and I am excited to write my planning journal! Thank you to everyone off this site who shared templates and ideas. As a wedding planner I knew exactly what I wanted and without a DIY bone in my body ebay, etsy and other brides from this site were PERFECT for my destination wedding. I hate anything DIY. I hate going to Michaels and searching through bins and I would much rather pay someone to do it for me I love planning other weddings and I love my job, I just really didn't want to do it for my own.. crazy right? So I'll get started.. most of my stuff was made on Etsy or purchased from a store. I will be happy to share sellers if you pm me! How we met and our engagement session.. We actually met in college 10 years ago I was partying too much so I was forced to go home and finish school near where I grew up, haha. So we actually lost contact for 4 years. I had a failed marriage, he a failed engagement and while I was working a wedding for a friend of his we just happen to run into each other again and the rest was history We got married here in VA, just the two of us and two kids later after I decided to take time away from work and I started planning my dream wedding.. (Sorry the pics are so big) The Rings.. To make a long story short.. I am very picky and indecisive.. The first set didn't fit my personality, the 2nd set I loved the eternity band but it didn't fit flush next to the engagement ring and it bothered me.... So this was my 3rd and final set, and I love them. The Resort: We are regulars at Atlantis in the Bahamas so I wanted something similar to that island but somewhere we had never been. So with a friend who had just gotten married at this resort, I did some research and we found the Gran Bahia Principe. My top reasons: Free food and alcohol and I can bring my own photographer!! Save The Date Magnets we sent out in January My Stuff.. I loooove Amsale so I knew I wanted her Bijou dress but HATE strapless dresses (thanks to the DD's) so I took Amsale dresses and added the top to my favorite Bijou.. FINAL- LOVE and sooooooo worth the money!! Here's all my other stuff: Had to wear sparkly Louboutins! I'm a shoe whore! Girls- Davids Bridal Dress in Pool and my daughter in a pool tutu For the guys.. Tan destination tuxes and we bought them orange ties. My hubby and son both had aqua colored shirts. Here we are all together.. LOVE!

Yea that's nuts.. Mine were half that! If you pm me I can forward you to my stationary lady!

Thanks everyone! @Busy Bee- Thank you soo much! Your day will be here before you know it and the resort has tons of places for amazing pictures. That dessert was the profiteroles. I heard the tiramisu is horrible. The profiteroles weren't half bad and that dark chocolate on top was yummy.

We were successful! At the beginning of the reception near our guestbook we placed the cards. Then we just made an announcement at the beginning of dinner what they were for. My guest loved them and they are really nice. We just received the last one yesterday. I have control issues, lol, so I didn't trust that they wouldn't walk off and get lost so I addressed, stamped and mailed them myself, lol.

Yep, i took them to the front desk. Postage was a little more. Be careful though they take a lot longer to arrive.

Hey Ashley, Contact Diana 1-2 weeks prior to your wedding, she is the head of all of the a la carte restaurants and super sweet. Don't go through Chandlyn or Donnalee. Here email is [email protected]. There should be no problem getting you into one of the restaurants since we had a party of 35 in the Grille. She will tell you which restaurants are open during your wedding week.

JayKay-Hey Doll! 1. Contact Diana the reservation chick for all of the a la carte restaurants 2 weeks prior to your wedding. Do NOT talk to Chandlyn or Donnalee, they put you in the buffet because they have no say over the a la cartes. We had our welcome/rehearsal dinner in the Grill for 35 people and it was amazing. Her email is [email protected]. She will let you know 1-2 weeks before which restaurants are open and which can accommodate your group. But you all have smaller groups than I did so it shouldn't be any problem! 2. No you don't have to pay for it and no it doens't count towards one of your a la carte dinners. 3. Brought my own flowers, can't help ya on this one. 4. Nope- I think that would be really pretty and the best usage of the space and more intimate. 5. Didn't make a cd, I brought my ipod and they had a wire to hook up to the speaker.

Oh also.. the Grille is right in front of the 1800's block next to the pool.

Hey Busy Bee- 1. Nope, you are all set. 2. Nothing- I would email her back reminding her of your Free Package and that you shouldn't have to send in a CC authorization for since there is nothing to pre-pay. We paid for everything the day we met with Chandlyn. 3. We were in the 1800's and it was perfect. I went to the rooms on the 2300 side where our photogs were and I didn't see a difference in room. And actually they were very far from everyone and everything. Look at it like a "U" the pool is in the middle of the U with the lobby. If you are standing in the lobby with the pool in front of you.. To the right is the 2300 and 12/1300's and the big buffet, Japanese, Don Pablo. To the left is the 14-1800's and Dolce Vita. Behind the 14-1800's building is the disco and little marketplace and near the beach is where the good jerk chicken is So if anything you should consider being in the 1800's like we were. Other than the lobby (which we rarely went there) we were right near everything. 4.Yep. I contacted her a week before our arrival and she booked a time with me for the next week. We too were doing excursions and stuff so I wanted to make sure it didn't interfere.
