  2. HEY!!!!! OMG, first you look gorgeous and your review was FAB! I am so happy for you that you all had a great time. I can't believe it came and went! It feels like we just started talking about wedding stuff last week, hahaa. Congrats and enjoy wedded bliss
  3. -Tamandrob: We also did Island Routes (www.islandroutes.com) and it was WONDERFUL! Thanks to Tekeya recommending this place, we all had a great time at Dolphin Cove. In our package was dolphin encounter, shark show, swim with sting rays, fun with exotic birds and reptiles. I think it was $75 for adults and kids 8 and under were free, we only had to pay the $15 transportation fee for our son. (Oh also if you do this excursion, take a couple dollars to tip the people with the birds and reptiles. They will let you take pictures with them but I tipped them a couple bucks because they were so sweet and made our son feel comfortable holding their animals. Here are a couple pictures, sorry they are ginormous - -JODIANN: We had 35 people and did the free package as well, also, just ask Chandlyn when you get there if there are some things in the package that you don't need. Like, I hate flowers so we nixed all the flowers (I brought my own silk flowers) and she added an extra layer of cake for free.
  4. Thanks so much! Your day will be here before you know it trust me! I can't believe it has come and gone already!
  5. After all the crap I went through with my missing items and them feeling like they didn't care, I'm glad I gave them both 2 of our wedding cups. I personally wouldn't give them $200 but that's just me. If they give you that level of service then great but I doubt you are going to get that. I prefer you give that money to the bartenders and waiters who actually do something and work very hard.
  6. Thank you, yes it was fabulous and a perfect day!! Here is e planning thread with info and lots of pics: http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/t/76108/cupcakes-jamaica-09-10-11-planning-journal/30#post_1684237
  7. Well, the walk is pretty long and it stone but not the kind that has the creases in between the rocks.. It is pretty smooth.. so if you aren't an experienced heel wearer I suggest wearing other shoes. I'm assuming your dress is long and no one will see your shoes.. I walked down the aisle with flip flops and I wear heels every day. But since I knew all the dancing and pictures would be taken next to the gazebo right after the ceremony in the sand I didn't want to have to change shoes. So in our pictures I wear heels but everything else I had flip flops on. Ok so to give you an idea.. We are halfway down the aisle at this point. The golf card drops you off back at the stone wall (behind a tree so no one can see you). To me it was a pretty long walk. My song was 2 minutes long and my song was almost done by the time we go to the gazebo.
  8. 8-10 for my reception at Dolce Vita. We had long rectangle tables.
  9. Yaaay, so excited for you. You have been through so much and I am so happy for you that your day is almost here!! Can't wait to hear all about it when you get back! xoxo
  10. Yaaaay, how exciting!! I can't believe my day came and went a month ago! Anyhoo, I wrote out both myself. I had the person making all our stationary do a quick cute program. For the seating chart (35 people) I just wrote it out for Chandlyn. We had a head table and two tables in front of ours so it was quite easy.
  11. Thank you everyone! @Tekeya- I am so happy we met and I hope to have a lasting friendship with you We have had so much fun the last couple of months together planning weddings 1 week apart at the same resort!! Love ya girl!
  12. Thank you so much everyone They are both from Etsy. The earrings are seller: laalee and the caricature pic came from seller: caricatures4u.
  13. Thank you! I took that picture at the pool I got minimal photography skills, hahaha
  14. Ok- so my last post totally went crazy LMAO.. To answer your questions- The luminaries were from etsy seller: thepaperynook. She is AMAZING to work with. We ordered 35 names, 2 large ones for us and then we ordered large ones for table numbers. And yes, they are flat and one end has double sided tape and you just peel off the backing on the tape and roll them yourself. We had battery operated tea lights. Here are a couple more pics: Our lumies.. Table Numbers/Guest Lumies: Since the wedding costs were way under our budget, we decided to take that money and spend on our guests. So for my bridal party we spent about $400 each, the groomsmen about $300 each and each welcome bag was about $30. The earrings came from etsy seller: laalee, she is also very sweet. Here is a better picture of the earrings, they are a little smaller than in her pictures: As for the washclothes.. My resort actually DIDN'T carry them. Only hand towels and regular towels. So my guests were SOOOO thankful I had read about that previously on this site and added them to their bags. Also- the stadium cups were great too. The bars all have super small cups and my 22oz cups were loved by everyone. Saved a trip to the bar for a 2nd drink, haha. And it looked pretty cool with 30 people in the pool with the same cups. Everyone knew our rowdy group by the end of the trip, haha.
  15. Yes, me too! I love seeing other planning threads when it is all said and done! If helps me with more ideas to take back to work!

  18. Thank you so much!! The bracelet was from easy seller ritasoy. They were perfect and my girls loved them. Just simple and pretty.
  19. Our group of 35 ate there for our rehearsal dinner and it was yummy! I love steak so the ribeye was ok. Not the best cut. The lamb chops were good too..
  20. HAHA.. Me getting crafty was making the brochures on vistaprint.. Well does that even count? I didn't even print them or fold them, damn.. nevermind, haha.. But she is that busy that she only sells like 25 every Sunday and it takes 8 weeks!!
  21. The hanger??? Heck no... Come on Sllefebvr... I don't DIY anything hahahaha... The seller is: http://www.lilafrancesdesigns.com/ I think it takes 8 weeks and she sells them only on Sunday's at a certain time. When they sell out she doesn't sell them again until the next Sunday.
