Amurka I love those shoes!! It must be the week for shoe shopping because I bought mine yesterday!! You have NO idea how hard it was to find green shoes! I thought I would post a pic too as I am also in love with my shoes!!!

DreamsBride - just thought I would let you know that I heard back from Jenny and YES you can reserve another restaurant, just not the SSG! Good to know. I also emailed the resort regarding the "ultimate vacation club" people or whatever they are called and they responded to me as well and said that they have had many complaints and have now made changes to the policy about where these people can be in the resort etc. (only in the lobby and a few other select areas) so that is good to know!

I think we will be going with "Feels like Home" by Chantal Kreviazuk - we were originally thinking of it for the first dance song, but we wanted to have a less traditional first dance with a bit faster song!

I think if you are doing cards then I would do one per person, that way everyone just looks for their own name. If you are doing a chart like thing (poster that everyone looks at but there aren't cards for everyone) then you could do couples if you prefer. That's just my opinion - might save some confusion if you have a bit bigger group?

Jenn - I'm not sure about table size but Tiara had said in an email that you can have round tables that seat either 8 or 10 if that helps any? Also, I would LOOOVE if you could share the site you are ordering from because I have been searching around for sashes and table overlays/runners! I ordered from paper-garden.ca - some of the stuff is more expensive but they had really cheap shipping so for me it worked out great!

Dana have you left yet?? If not, I am wondering if you could bring us back your opinion on something? I have heard a lot lately about there being timeshare people all over Dreams that are trying to sell you a timeshare type of thing and that they are pretty harrassing to some people. I am wondering if you can let us know if you experience this, because I know how sometimes people can exaggerate so much! Some of the people who were complaining about this were also complaining that some of the staff didn't speak very good English (HELLO, you are in a Spanish speaking country, what did you expect! haha) so I'm taking it with a grain of salt, but thought I would get your opinion once you get back!

Hi all! I ordered too many of these and now am looking to see if anyone is looking for some. They expire at the end of JULY 2011 (although apparently they will be fine for a while after that....) so they would probably be best for those will weddings before August 2011. I have 120 extra and I will sell them for $0.35 each but that doesn't include shipping (I'm in Canada). Thanks!

I am in Canada so it may not be worth it because of the shipping - but I have about 12 to get rid of if you want and you could have them for $6 (0.50 each). You may want to check Oriental Trading first though because they are fairly cheap there!

Natalie - I love your shoes! I have been hunting for apple green (ish) satin shoes and Nine West is the only place I can find that has them - I will have to check that store out! Thanks. Hope all have....I guess had, since it's 7:30.....a great time at the meet-up, I was stuck at school!

Dana - sorry to hear about your glasses - maybe they can be sent afterwards as "thank you for coming" gifts?? Or are you cancelling the order altogether? Either way, sounds like everything else is going to be great and I'm sure everything will work out and go according to plan! Dreams Bride - Sorry, I should have specified that I did ask about reserving the SSG so it's possible they will do it at other a la cartes. And about the music part - She said that as long as you have a private reception you can have music so I assume that means you would either have one of the menus, private buffet menus, or reserve a whole restaurant but I don't know so I am clarifying with her - I will let you know when I hear back! Noemi - sorry to hear that you may be cancelling DLR! I'm sure New York will be awesome as well if that's what you guys decide to do.

How much for the sunscreen? And where did you get it? I can't find mini sunscreen ANYWHERE!

My friend got my 2 pack motrin/tylenol stuff through some wholesale place that she works with - I will have some extras (PM me for info) if you want and I am in Calgary so that saves the shipping! I got my card holder things on ebay but I also found another website that sells them too - it is saved on my home computer but I will post it for you once I get home. What kind of plastic cup/mugs are you looking for? Do you want them to be travel mugs with a lid or stadium type cups? Also, how many do you think you need?

A lot of people use minimus.biz or other online wholesale places, if you do a search on the forum, there are a few different websites that I looked at that I found on here. There aren't any great deals that I've found so far on this type of thing in Canada - just have to suck it up and pay the shipping or pay a much higher price to buy them at a first aid place here! Ackland Grainger sometimes has them (for companies to refill their first aid kits) but you would have to check each store!

Any Canadian ladies want to go in on a second order?? I will order them but want to make sure we have enough people so I'm not left with a ton of extras! I will need about 30 and they come in a case of 100 for $44.09 plus shipping. Lisa thanks for the info....don't have time right now, but CANNOT wait to look at your pics! I will probably email you a few questions! I got an email back from Jenny today that said that there is no longer an option to get the whole restaurant reserved for your reception ($1000) so she said if I want to have a private reception (a.k.a. not just everyone sitting at a bunch of tables in a restaurant with other people around) then I have to choose from the gold or silver menus. Too bad, because we are going to have enough people that I think the $1000 rental might have ended up being the cheaper way to go! Glad the photographer stuff is sorted out - and I guess after all the drama, it turns out to be a good thing because it saves us all the $65 fee for the day pass for HDC!! Look at that positive spin!! haha.

I haven't heard anything at all from anyone at DLR in about a month so I am slightly worried. I just sent an email with URGENT in the subject so let's hope that works! For anyone who has done the free wedding package - do you have to pay for extra chairs and chair covers? Since I will be ordering chair sashes, I am thinking I might just order the chair covers as well if I will be charged extra for them! Seems I am getting more info on this forum than from the DLR WCs these days! haha. On an exciting note - I got my tote bags, towels and most of the first aid kits organized today! woo hoo! I will try and get a picture tonight if I don't forget! Also, I finished my passport invites and just need to insert a nicer photo of us and then they can be printed and mailed out by the end of the month. Hope everyone's planning in going well, despite the photography and Tiara being away hiccups!

I was SURE I was going with the ultimate package until I did the calculations and realized it will be cheaper to get the free package and add on extras. I know we will not get a few things like the champagne flutes but my fiance doesn't drink anyways so not a big loss for us. Plus, I figured that even if I end up spending the same amount on the package, at least it is on stuff that I want, not stuff that is thrown in the package! Honestly, the photography was the eventual dealbreaker for me in the package department because the pricing was SO ridiculous for the resort photographer if you want extra photos ($15 per photo).

Great quality IMO. They are obviously not the same as a 100% cashmere that you would get at a fancy store but they are more than good enough quality for a gift! I would sya they are definitely better quality than what you would get at an ardene/claires for sure, and comparable to the pashmina my friend bought at Macy's in the states.
