I had the same feelings as you are, we have decided to get married legally in the US first, we will celebrate our date in Mexico as our anniversary though and we are not telling anyone. I that that ceremony will be the one that counts the other stuff is just paper work. The more I thought about it the more it just seemed like too much of a hassle to get married legally down there.

I am having such a hard time figuring out what song I am going to use! I was planning on using the somewhere over the rainbow, but one of my bridesmaids got married a couple weeks ago and that is the song she used so I dont think I am going to use it, I think that is going to be the song that we are going to use at the end after we are married. I am thinking about using Keith Urban "Your Everything" but I am not 100% sure

What do you guys think of these? The problem is that they only come in pearl and my dress is diamond white so it makes me nervous about the color, but I dont think that you will really see them

So let me start off by saying I have ZERO fashion sense, no style what so ever. I normally ask my friends for opinions before I buy everything, however I do not want them to know what I am getting them. I already bought their dresses which they have here is what they look like: Only they are in a dark purple, my colors are orange and purple and their flowers are going to be orange lilies. So I wanted to get everyone a bracelet because this is a mulit way dress and everyone will be wearing it differently so I can not really get a necklace, and I told them they can wear their hair however they want so if it is down you wont see earrings, so I thought a bracelet was safe. So I was thinking about getting either an orange or purple one, these are the only ones that I can find that I like, so I would like opinions on if people like them. Again I have no sense for style so they could be very ugly for all i know that is why i need help: or Thanks for your help!

Welcome, I am getting married at GBP Coba in Jan 2012! We are doing a beach wedding, it is what I have always dreamed of and the whole reason we are going to Mexico to have are feet in the sand We are doing a resturant dinner simply to cut back on cost, I would have loved to do a themed dinner but with our budget it just wasnt for us. We are having a priviate reception after the dinner then we will head to the disco, I still want to do a first dance and have music that we want to hear and you cant really do that at the disco. Thanks, I am hoping that the mosquitoes will not be a problem in January. For the bouquet this is the picture i sent them and they said that it should not be a problem at all with them doing this, and then i am going to have just the lilies with long stems for my bridesmaids which again she said should be fine: I have not decided what I am going to do for my makeup either so i would love to hear if the resort did a good job, or if i should just plan on doing it myself. For the cake, I think that I am just going to get the one that is given to us, I am not a big dessert person so that is not as important to me, and I think that as long as there is enough cake to go around that it should be fine

Thanks I will look into those, we were in Riviera Maya last January (when we got engaged) it was at a different resort and before we went I had read the same thing about how bad the mosquitoes were but I didnt see one the whole time, so I am hoping that is how it will be again this year, but I think i will get those just in case.
