  1. I am blown away! Everything looks fantastic. You are so inspiring. I still have a year till my wedding in Jamaica, and I can only hope I have so much to share with other brides as well. Your welcome books in the OOT bags look awesome.
  2. Wow, your pictures are beautiful! You look gorgeous as well. Where did you have your wedding? My fiance and I were looking at the Riu in Montego Bay, but that background in your pics looks awesome. Thanks for sharing!
  3. Thanks for sharing your pics! They are beautiful. I'm considering using Diana as well, so I'm glad you had such a good experience with her.
  4. I've been talking with Diana too, and she seems really great. The only thing that worries me is her typing skills. Is communication a problem? Also, I was trying to ask her about wedding albums, but she was getting confused I think. Does anyone know if she does albums? Thanks!
  5. My fiance and I are getting married at RMB in June of 2012. What kind of reception did you go with? The semi-private? The private dinner? or the beach reception? I'm nervous that we won't be able to have music and dancing and that would not go over well with my huge family. Thanks!
  6. Wow, I just realized that your wedding was...yesterday! Congrats! You're married! Whenever you get back, I am anxiously awaiting to hear how working with Alain was. My fiance and I are pretty close to booking him, but his prices are sooo low that I'm nervous! Thanks and congrats again!
  7. Thanks for the recommendation! His portfolio looks great. I just contacted him.
  8. I have really appreciated reading all of your posts. They have all been incredibly helpful to my fiance and I as we are in the beginning stages of our planning process. Quick question though... -Has anyone worked with Alain Hottat? He has given us an amazing deal which of course makes me a bit nervous for the quality of his work. He is offering $2,000 for... -TTD -Videography -Preparation-Reception coverage -400 photos on a high res CD Any feedback would be awesome. Thank you!!!!
  9. Hello All! My fiance and I are planning a June 2012 wedding at Riu in MoBay, and I had a couple of questions for any other brides who have had or are having their wedding there. 1. Is it extra to do the beach reception as opposed to a reception in the restaurant? 2. We were thinking about just hooking up an ipod in lieu of having an actual DJ. Did anyone else do this? How did it work? Did you find that you missed having a DJ? 3. Did you have an issue with bringing in outside photographers? 4. Has anyone worked with Alain Hottat? Thank you!!!! We are in the beginning stages of our planning, so I'd appreciate any feedback. This forum is awesome though, so a big "Thank you!" to whoever started it.
  10. Our travel agent suggested not really giving guests the option. Don't be pushy of course, but she suggested just saying, "The wedding will be held at Riu-Montego Bay. Here is the link to check out the accommodations." If you start having guests spread out in different hotels, you'll have so much more of a headache later. -They'll have to get day passes. -They won't have the all-inclusive meals and drinks -If there is time between ceremony and reception, they won't have a room to go back to -They will have to make travel arrangements to get there, and cabs can be very expensive. Of course, it is always up to your guests where they want to stay, but having everyone at the same hotel would make your life a lot easier. Plus, then you can all enjoy each other's company at the pool or beach for the rest of the time you're there.
