  1. Starting P90X tomorrow finally! I still haven't finished setting up or home gym room at the new house...but I said i was starting it March 1 and I have to stick to what I say or I'll never be able to force myself to do it everday. And i never cancelled my gym membership oops, maybe I'll use it occasionally this month for the treadmill. I also think i'm going get better at actually recording my calories on loseit.com. I kind of want a body bug too. If I record my calories in and out I figure there's now way I can't lose some fat! We'll see how the diet goes, I'll probably just modify it to suite me. I'm a vegetarian so I have to find my lean protein in beans and other stuff like that. I'm not sure if i'm going to get any protein drinks for after the workout, my boyfriend drinks them and I think they're gross lol. Ugh I better be on here tomorrow telling you all about how much pain I'm in from my first day, no more putting it off!
  2. No i'd miss my little girl too much Would you ever tan on a nude beach?
  3. That looks and sounds like so much fun! Will def. have to consider this one.
  4. The ring is not a lemon! Although someone who knows nothing about diamonds and fine jewelry might think that. I know this is an old post but I just had a similar situation happen and was searching to see if anyone else had the same thing happen to them... The probelm with the pave design is that they aren't held in place by a prong at all. A small dot of white gold is put between the diamonds to hold them in place. Obviously this isn't as secure as a prong so they become loose and can fall out far too easily. Why do I know this you ask? WELL.. my FI got me a beautiful engagment ring with three large diamonds and pave diamonds all around the side. Love it, gorgeous. 3 weeks after I got it I look down at my hand, there's a diamond missing. My FI takes it 2 hours to the store he got it from the jeweler cleans it and says 2 more fell out while doing so. He fixes it and explains what I explained above, wow you should probably tell people BEFORE they buy a ring that it is likely to lose diamonds. If my FI knew that he would have never bought that ring because it's lack of durability totally doesn't fit my lifestyle. Anyways, the jewler said it should not happen again. I was really paranoid after that and extra careful with it. Then about 1 1/2 weeks later I look down at my hand in the shower and what do you know ANOTHER diamond is missing. I just about freaked out. So now I have been without an engagment ring for a week and we are driving 4 hours roundtrip AGAIN this saturday to to go get a new ring. It's a very expensive ring from a well known, respected jeweler in my state and I honestly don't even think it's the jeweler's fault when it comes to these rings, it's just a poor design. I hope everything worked out with you ring.
  5. Good for you for taking the high road! I'm glad you aren't letting any drama get you down or foil your planning. I totally agree once her wedding comes and goes she will probably be much more helpful and active with yours. Ugh, wedding dress shopping is SO a big deal! She's probably just a little jealous of you and your wedding plans but who wouldn't be you're getting married in paradise afterall ! =D I hope talking to her will help your situation. I'd just try to emphasize how excited you are for BOTH weddings and how fun and cool you think it is that you two can share the experience of getting married and planning your own weddings together. Good luck
  6. Welcome! (and Congrats in advance ;P) BDW is amazing you will find any and all information you need on here about 10 times faster than any WC will get back to you. Everyone is sooooo helpful here I love it. I've never used any forums before until now and I sure am glad I'm checking this one out for my first time because it's a life saver. Have fun planning, a DW is for sure the way to go!
  7. Sorry to hear that! I would just try to make her feel like it's a GOOD thing you're both getting married around the same time and it will be a lot of fun to plan things together and help each other out with different ideas and aspects! It's not a competition after all, both of your days will be equally special and wonderful! A friend of mine is getting married this summer and I'm getting married next January so we like to get coffee and go shopping together to talk about and look at different wedding stuff. I hope things get better and your MOH helps you out more! Good luck planning =D
  8. Dislike (lol i had to google that one, never heard of them, but I don't eat meat so no gravy for this girl) greek yogurt
  9. Welcome and Congrats! And no the addiction does not subside there's tons of December 2011 brides on here for you to relate with! Now if only I could find more January 2012 brides haha =D
  10. Ahh the Bob Marley tour sounds incredible my FI and are are huuuuuge fans of the late Great, but isn't it kind of far from MoBay? I looked at the website and it looks so fun but I think it said it would take a couple hours to get there, and the tour is only like 2 hours long. I don't know if we can give up a whole day to do that but I still want to Dunns River we will do for sure though! I can't decide if my FI and I will do that one on our own or bring the group, it sounds like it might be more fun with a group! We're going to do Dunn River and go ziplining, one just with us and one we're going to bring our bridal party as a gift! Appleton Rum Tour would be fun too! Every brewery tour i've been to which is many, we've gotten sooooo drunk for free of course haha.
  11. Welcome and congrats all! Lots of Iberostar Rose Hall brides on here, I love it
  12. Welcome Ashley and congratulations! A cruise will be very exciting and fun, never been on a cruise before. I can't find much beach themed stuff in stores either, but there's a lot online! Also - - - in the buy/sell/trade section there's usually a bunch of ladies who just got back from their wedding selling their decorations !
  13. That's interesting, I wonder if the same is true for my Mirena too. I'll have to look into getting some testers too, it'd be nice to know at least a general time frame of when you are most likely to conceive. I just don't want to have it not happen right away and become obsessive over when I'm ovulating and 'plan' out our sex life based on that. Good luck to you! Good luck everyone!!!
  14. LOL i just did my 4th order too. It is addicting! I'll post pictures when I get my stuff =D...I'm going to have sooo many extra business cards haha I do not need 250 of the same thing, I only have 25 guests ! I ordered, tote bags, hats, pens, large magnets and invites for our STD's (free save the dates ha I never thought that was possible), notepads, a notebook for my wedding planning, sticky notes, a mouse pad, door hanger thingy's that say 'Do not disturb...', return address labels (they have so many cute designs), postcards and keychains! I just got an e-mail from them and the subject was 'we're selling the farm' pretty much everything they sell for free here's the link if anyone needs some free deals: http://ebm.e.vistaprint.com/c/tag/hBNZPl0AZdBOAB8ZSBjNtUdNzLM/[email protected]
  15. I agree with you. They don't seem very organized, I'm not paying to arrive in Jamaica and not know what's going on and have to plan everything in 2 days. That's crazy you haven't heard anything and your wedding is in 3 weeks! Did you get a hold of the florist without talking to Nicole? I wasn't sure if I had to do that on my own or if the WC would send me info. Obviously everything will be amazing and gorgeous, everyone's wedding pictures from the resort always make it look incredible! It just sucks we're left in the dark so much beforehand. I like things to be organized.
  16. Loseit.com is an awesome sight. It's basically weight watchers but better and free. It's nice that it tracks how much protein and carbs you intake as well, it's so helpful to see the charts and watch for trends. Thanks for sharing that with everyone! Cherazi - I tell myself the same thing when I want sweets! Nemmerz - I feel your pain I had a baby 8 months ago and was back at my pre-pregnancy weight within a week, but my lower belly is the one place that is still a lil chubby and it drives me crazy, it's hard to get and keep a flat stomach. You can be skinny as hell but still have belly fat it sucks ! I do as much core workouts as I can to help with that, leg raises and scissors are good for lower abs too. Our bodies like to store fat in our lower abs and butt so mostly I think dieting (cut out refined sugar and carbs) and general cardio and core strengthening will help get rid of that dreaded lower belly fat. The more muscles you have, the more fat you burn!
