Beautiful Dress igotgills!~ would have missed it if prettypigpig wouldn't of commented on it, so thanks for bringing it up! I love to check this thread for pictures of every ones dresses etc so girls bring on more pics of the dresses! Inspiration and final products love them all!

If you look back a handful of pages there is quite a bit of comment on Jasmines bridal and pictures of peoples dresses. I ordered from them and love my dress and used the premium. I think alot of it depends on the style of dress and what is important to you. They have a lot of pictures online of their work and states what grade of service was used.

I am using shutter fly for my wedding website, I included the website address and password in my invite and use it to post questions updates and a variety of information for my destination wedding. Even if you give them the web address and password for your site they still need to create an account in order to post comments questions etc... I never thought of creating a generic login name and password for everyone to use. I just might have to think about doing that and including in my photo upload instruction cards. hmmmmmm

Engaged in Nov, STD/Invite sent out May I believe, most people already knew about it so they could be planning/saving. Like I said before I am not sending out another invitation. I included an early RSVP for people to get to me by August, Yes, no, maybe, to give me a rough idea. I am using a TA but I did not put money down on rooms. Everyone is booking through the TA, we were able to get a discount and we will get so much money back per guest booked. I knew everyone would be traveling on different days and staying at different lengths so I wanted to leave this open to my guest to do what they like. Plus I have been royally screwed putting deposits down for people and then not holding up to it. We have a wedding website, this was included in invites and all of the TA information is posted on there and my TA also composed an email that was sent out to everyone too. A majority of the people that RSVPd yes have already booked and my TA is updating me when anyone books and I know the No's already so there are a few maybes that are floating out there but we have a pretty good idea of who will most likely book and who will not. I'm not too concerned with final numbers yet.

Oh wow! That is great that kids are allowed, I imagined with all the rules there would be no way. We chose the suites due to price and hotel ammenities etc. but they also did not have the free wedding promotion going on at the Grand when we were looking

I would say one big item to remember is if you have guest traveling with children and your wedding is at the Grand the children will most likely not be able to attend as it is an Adult Only resort. This will then require guest with children to figure out what to do with their kids for a day. Another big item would be the price difference in the resorts, but if you are willing to pay for the day pass this might not be as big of a deal. Good luck, I have heard all the properties are beautiful.

Wow, that is crazy and I am so sorry you are having to deal with this. Hopefully people will book between the grand and the beach like another bride said and everything will work out!

erinmc, As far as ordering that is kind of up to you. I went ahead and ordered my dress even though I have plenty of time incase I had any issues with it and had to go to a plan B. I posted earlier the time it took for my dress. I will have to look that back up as I do not recall at this moment As far as my measurements I actually had my mother and grandmother do them. My grandma has done ALOT of sewing through the years. I do know however that it is recommended to go to an actual professional. Def do not try and do it yourself.

I have no experience with Babyonline or Gianinar but I was/am extremely happy with my experience with Jasmines Bridal. They were always very promt in returning emails and answering all questions. I also placed 1/2 down deposit and then once recieving my pictures of my dress, yes they were on a manequin, I was able to make comments, alterations and recieved yet another set of pictures after things had been altered and once I oked the dress they charged me the remainder. Based off of my experience I would recommend Jasmines! My dress was not nearly as detailed but if you look at some of the work they have done it might help to give you a better opinion on what type of work they can do.
