  1. Done, Done and Done! I will not be tweaking any further as I think I might drive myself a bit crazy if I keep at these. Just need to purchase the paper and supplies (I've started collecting these) and time to assemble! Below is the final version and I've included a picture of the monogram I will use for my belly band. New Final Edit2 - Boarding Pass Invite.pdf
  2. Finally finished mine... Had to tweak my invites so the monogram looked right with them! I'll be using two versions, the first one will be for my luggage tags and OOT bags, the second will be for the belly band on my invites.
  3. Your dress is gorgeous!! Just the right amount of bling!! When does the dress come in from the boutique? I'm sure it will be fine but can understand the anxiety... I am floored by the fake website experience, what was the outcome?! Have you been on etsy for your hair?
  4. This is probably the prettiest pair I've seen yet, very simple! I am definitely DIY for the ceremony, used to make jewelry when I was younger, looks very simple to do!
  5. I didn't realize you are using real touch for your bouquet, I think calla's look the most real of any real touch flower (you know there are some that you can tell are"fake"). What are you doing for centerpieces? Please excuse if you have posted on that thread, there are so many pages within I wouldn't know where to start! The composite flower is indeed gorgeous, I don't think I have seen one before and definitely looks like a peony to me. It is so easy to get caught up in all the details that we plan that we lose sight of our original vision or stray away from it... To be able to bounce ideas of eachother, beyond great! This board has been most helpful for that, especially when you have "laid back" fiance's
  6. Tori - I love the first picture of the single flower! What type of flower is it?! Calla Lillies are gorgeous and very simple, elegant and classic. I wouldn't say they are "over done", true they are used quite a bit but I think it's becuase there isn't another flower that is similar. In my opinion, everything needs to flow for a wedding, the dress, the decor, the flowers etc... Calla Lillies would compliment your dress beautifully because they are simple. Personally, I think the peony bouquet below kind of resembles the flower on your dress too closely and the bouquet may get a bit lost. I hope this isn't too forward, just wanted to give you an honest answer!! Keep us updated with what you decide!
  7. cheapest prices on beach towels ive seen yet! Thanks for sharing!!
  8. How's the quality?! Thinking of ordering it myself I really liked that it was unique!
  9. I was reading this too... The date on them, if i remmeber correctly was 4/09 they guarantee them for 2 years after the exp date. For me this wouldn't work (May 2012) and I would hate to have them not work. That being said there is a grouping below that are not expired for $5 something a camera... I'm taking this route just don't know what's better, kodak or fuji?!
  10. Adding these to my idea book for sure! Using vibrant colors myself, a focus of purple and orange, touches of lime green, hot pink and turquoise. Definitely incorporating orchids into everything, Love the bottom one especially! Thanks for posting!
  11. What a special experience, to meet the designer himself! You are glowing in these pictures and that dress is stunning on you! Like the last poster, the belt absolutely makes the dress!!!
  12. Finally finished! Had to tweak my invites first before I could come up with the monograms. The first one will be used for my OOT bags as well as luggage tag inserts that I'll send to guests a month before the wedding. The second one will be used with my invites, for the belly band on my boarding pass enclosures. Just wish they would print as purple as they look on the screen!!!
  13. I can FINALLY open attachments!!! Yey for being an officail Junior Member... Anyways, curious as to where you found the picture for your first aid kits? I've been working on my monogram and what I'll be using for my tags for my OOT bags for labels. Like you I want it all to flow from my invites to the tags, menus etc... Thanks in advance!
  14. I am only having 18 total attend our DW, not sure if there will be one long table or two shorter rectangle tables but this is what I'm planning on... simple and elegant. Our vases will not have LED's in them. But I will be using the chargers as pictured below.
  15. I am so glad to hear your guests enjoyed the Mad Libs!! In Martha Stewarts last wedding issue she had a download for one - which I've done and had planned to include in my OOT bags. Sounds like it could be just as fun at the AHR too!! Sounds like everything went really well for you!
  16. Of course she did! That's why I love them so much!!!! I adore her work and have been admiring one of her designs for my invites but with only needing 10 invites, I have accepted that I can make my own for a lot less than $300. She did a lovely job with yours!!!
  17. Let me know when you do! I can't decide whether I am doing silver or gold accents, loving the ones with the jewels incorporated too!
  18. Great colors!!! Did you make these?! I'm taking the boarding pass route for our invites!
  19. I ordered through Etsy - seller was Mavora I then attached a papaya colored card to the magnet and sent them in the cream envelopes. Guests loved them!
