I have seen a lot of templates on these threads for welcome books. Did you try doing a search? A lot of the planning threads have their templates posted too. There is one that I thought was cute. I think it was under Mandy's?

Congratulations! Your pictures are beautiful!! I am getting married at Excellence Playa Mujeres. You can't go wrong with any of the Excellence clubs. They are amazing!

I could only choose between 1pm & 5pm. I choose 5pm since I didn't want it that early. I thought it would be too hot & I didn't want to have to get up super early that morning!

We chose 5pm and I am hoping there is still day light after the ceremony for pics.

I did the exact same thing! My STDs will be going out the 1st week of April. The only thing I can think of adding would be your TAs info if you are using one.

I waited until I got a confirmation from my resort, which I am glad I did. I originally wanted April but had to go with May. I put our confirmed date on our STDs because I felt that my guests could then decide on how long & what exact days they would like to come for.

Oh how fun! Still, what a birthday celebration! We are doing the ceremony at 5pm. I asked Yamina about times so I can decide how long the photog should be there. She said ceremony is 5, cocktail hour is 6, reception is 7 - 10. I would assume it's the same timing if it starts at 1. I would think your recept would be from 3 - 6? Don't worry though. The good thing is it is all inclusive so later in the night if you or anyone else get hungry....its free!!!

I KNOW!!! Until I joined this site I had no idea of all the stuff I could do. Even down to menu cards & fans for the ceremony! lol! There is a ton of great info on this site but sometimes can get a little overwhelming. Especially since we still have a year! I keep saving threads for later. We chose the gazebo and the gold package as well. I am arriving on April 29th at EPM! Day after your big day

Well first off congratulations! You have plenty of time to figure out where to have your wedding. I would suggest you pick the area you are interested in & go to as many resorts as you can in May to check them out. I have been to the DR(punta cana), Jamaica and Mexico. I can honestly say that the resort I picked in Mexico blows all other resorts out the water(that I have been to). . But with that being said, I don't think you can go wrong choosing any resort though! They are all on a tropical island, white sand, blue water & sunny skies!!! Have you found a TA you are going to use? When I started looking I was having a hard time with just the local TAs. I would recommend you talk to someone who has done numerous dest weddings. They should be able to give you all the resorts in the area you want with all their info. Maybe even pamplets & I am sure websites. If you have not found a TA thats willing to help you I will recommend mine. She is a vendor from this site. Teresa from Vactions for less. [email protected] And I agree you are giving your guests plenty of time to start saving. You maybe surprised how many people will come to your wedding. Sorry I couldn't be much help but I know how stressful it is to not have the answers to your questions! You are not alone but it will all work out. I found a lot of my unanswered questions on this site. Maybe try searching different resorts & going through some of the planning threads to see what places look like & reading others opinions. Good luck with everything & hopefully you can figure out your dream wedding resort!!

They look great! I have been playing around on vista print and am trying to figure out how to do the luggage tags. I am not a DIY person at all!! Did you do them as business cards & leave the back blank or did those through photoshop?
