I should probably make a list up. Things I want to do my FI says is lame lol. Anyone else have that problem? Like for example OOT bags. He said there is no need. Even the maracas & luggage tags! He doesn't want to be included in any of it so now I am second guessing doing the bags. Men!! I was going to get pashminas but thought its going to be HOT! So far I have sent STDs, got invites made(didnt send out yet), booked a room block, secured our date with resort, paid a deposit on a photographer, bought a dress, made luggage & maraca tags & thats it!!!! I need to get shoes, the I DO sticker(love that) ask the guys & girls to be in the wedding(thanks for the card!), get their outfits, FI outfit, book DJ, book flight, pay our room, pay for the wedding package, brochures, welcome letters, figure out OOT bags & what the heck I am gonna put in them and get a head count! Guess thats my list...ugh. I should copy this for a starter list. I am feeling overwhelmed today! @celticgirl & canadiangirl you both have done so much!!

Congrats & welcome! Wow sounds like you are doing good with planning. Congrats on finding a dress. 55 people already booked! Thats great...I have 6!! lol! I feel like the planning comes in spurts but once I have more of a head count I guess I can start with OOT bags. This site is great for any tips, ideas & advice. Well said AfricanVenus. I too am having issues with people coming. Even my own father is giving me crap & I honestly think he won't be there. I sent out my STDs in April for our May2012 wedding. At first EVERYONE said they were going. I mean this is a party of like 75 now its sounding more like 6 with the well I dont know's now. Two of my girl friends are now not going(who I was going to have in the wedding). It really does suck because like you said, you give them a year to plan. I mean even putting away $25 bucks a week works. We also chose an adults only resort so my little nephew can't come, which makes me sad. In the end, I have come to realize I honestly don't care who comes anymore. I know some of my friends & family will not be there & I accept that. The only thing that matters is me & my FI standing there in paradise becoming closer together as one. No matter who is there we will have an awesome time & will not think about the people who couldn't make it. If you want a DW then do it. You need to do what you want & what makes you happy. As others have said, looking back 15 years from now you don't want to have any regrets as to do a traditional wedding. Good luck to you & don't feel alone. We all are here going through the same or similar issues.

I wanted to try something different & mix it up so I did try Turbo Fire for like a week and was not a fan at all. I just couldn't get the moves down. The camera angles were no help & every time I finally got the move she would change it & do another. I ended up yelling & cursing at the tv more then working out. lol! So I went back to P90x & I will say I did have better results with P90x then Insanity. But I am sure its different for everyone. I don't know if its because it was a longer program or something but you can't go wrong with either. -swojdyla good luck with P90x! I am sure you will like it. I am surprised I am as sore as I am again!!! How funny that I remember all of Tony's little sayings lol!
