    Excellence allows 3rd party vendors, they are just giving an issue with 2 specific vendors. You will not need to pay for them to sleep there but you will need to pay a day pass fee for any outside vendor to come. Good luck!

    Yes & unfortunately we have been back & forth for a few weeks and they are still holding strong saying its coming from corporate, they dont do contracts blah blah. GRR! We shall see what happens I guess. Probably a good reason why I lost wedding interest! lol!

    Yes, we put a deposit down on La Luna. Its the resort who suddenly changed their policy after telling me it was OK. Ah, and DW are supposed to be less stressful!

    Well I lost it, it came back & now I lost it again! It's so bad I dont come on this site as much & I rarely write responses anymore. I will read a few threads & then don't even care! I don't even want to think about all the crap I still have to buy, plan & choose. To top it off my resort is screwing me with the photographer we booked. So now we have to FIGHT them which is stressing me out...ugh. I am so over with wedding planning. Here's to hoping my mojo comes back & I actually give a sh*t! lol! Man I sound miserable!!

    I am not getting married there but I too am getting my hair AND make-up done at my resort spa. It is free with our package but I plan on going a few days prior to get a trial because I have no idea if they are any good! lol! Maybe you could do the same, just a suggestion!

    jszy10 - sorry to hear about your back hopefully you the shred is better for you. manda123 - I am on my recovery week also! (month 2) You go girl! lol! Giving yoga a shot!! Let me know if you start to like it. I use 5s, 8s, 10s and even 15s for some of the back moves where you use free weights. In month 2 you will have Back & Bis and I find that I switch from 5s & 8s for my bis in that workout. Give it a try and if its too heavy just switch back but I would definitely try to challenge yourself & increase the weight!

    I got my fans Wednesday & I love them as well! I love that they are wood & even have a little tassel on the end. I was so surprised that they actually had a scent! I read the reviews which did say they smelt good but I didnt expect a nice scent! MY FI on the other hand thought the fan idea was lame. lol I told him its for the ceremony & I plan on having them on their chairs. Its going to be hot!! The packaging they came in will be great for packing too!

    If you hire a 3rd party photographer at Excellence make sure you ask them if they are allowed there. I am having issues with Excellence Playa Mujeres...apparently their policy has changed AFTER I booked mine(they said it was fine originally) & I am now getting screwed.

    We use electric toothbrushes at home but whenever we travel we buy normal brushes so you can just throw them out before you come home. One less thing to re-pack. And Listerine! I usually bring 2 bottles when we travel...it's great for when you wake up after a few too many cocktails & you don't feel fresh even after toothpaste lol!
