I agree the TA is the way to go! That way no one has to bother you! I still get people calling about stupid things but I just direct them to the TA. Also, you can get a great group rate. I think the minimum is a 10 room block. Not sure if that is TA specific but me & my guests could not find a cheaper rate. We also had to put a deposit down on the rooms BUT if they were not booked by a certain date you would get the money back. If they did book, that money would go to your room or you would get it back. The only downside I can say about my TA is that I have not heard from her AT ALL. Unless I email with a question(she gets right back to me)...not sure if that is a good or bad thing. FI says who cares but I thought I would at least get an email occasionally with a headcount so far etc especially since I have more guests booked then what we thought $$$$$$ for her.... Which reminds me I have to email her to get a list of my guests who has booked. Good luck & happy planning. You will find this site is completely addictive!!

I wanted to say thanks to deniden & all the other brides who's ideas I borrowed!! (or stolen! lol) If it wasn't for you guys I would never have been able to do these. I did my 1st real big order from VP today!! Hopefully they look ok in person. 140 return address labels (we are moving a month before the wedding, so i thought it would be perfect for my new name & our new address) 25 brochures (to mail out with luggage tags) 50 rack cards (menu) 1 t-shirt 10 thank you cards (figure i will get more free ones later) ALL FREE! totally love these...thanks deniden!

I was putting together my luggage tags last night & am concerned with the loops. I dont think anyone would use these if I sent them out I bought these off another bride from this site. They are the hard plastic case with the rubber loops. Here is a picture of what I am using: I tried to attach it to my bag handle & it was not staying at all and it wasnt really that big. What is everyone using if you dont use these loops? I have looked online for straps or something else but cant find any that are reasonable priced. I need about 20-25. If anyone has any suggestions or can recommend anything please let me know. I am in panic mode! Thanks!
