    I had a Bachelorette party this past weekend, it was a "passion" party. Some of the attendees purchased "bedroom" accessories for me during the party. Do I send thank you cards and if so do I mention the gift? gifts included vibrating things, lotions and other personal items.

    Well Your fiancee has committed to go to a bachelor party, is that correct? Now that something has come he cant go anymore? I understand where they are coming from, I just had a bachelorette party this weekend we did not take money from people upfront and took their as they RSVP'ed rented a Limo for the girls to split. 3 Girls did not show-up we could have rented something smaller but since people RSVP'ed we assumed they would come. I ended up paying for almost half of the Limo at my own Bachelorette part as I felt it unfair to the girls that agreed to a certain price to have to cover people that did not show (I am the Bride). Maybe if they could get a person to take his place they will refund the money. How is this the bride's fault it sounds like it is the best man who refuses to refund the money. I think when you agree to stand in a wedding there is a certain financial commitment that needs to understood upfront. Maybe you should plan something low key that does not cost alot. I have been to a "fun" party for a bachelorette party that was fun, held at someones home. It is stressful planning a wedding maybe you should talk to the bride and voice your concerns and talk it out not worth loses a friendship over. The bride should also understand that she has decided to have a destination wedding and the bridal party has already agreed to pay plenty of money to attend her wedding.     The male guest line up to dance with the bride and the females with the groom. Each guests gets a short (few seconds) dance with either the bride or groom after pinning money to their clothes or a member of the bridal party collect in a decorative bag.

    A lot of DW brides on here have done a Taco bar Nacho bar playing into the theme of their wedding Sounds easy and cost effect all you have to do is cook the meat and display the fixings, lettuce, cheese, salsa, sour cream, guacamole etc. This can be fun for guests too. Just a thought

    Davids Bridal has the worst customer service..... They are basically the Wal-Mart of Bridal Gowns. I went to try on dresses made an appointment and everything. And my consultant was no where to be found, my mother pulled dresses for me and helped me put them on. Left with no purchase. I went there a second time for flower girl dresses not bad we pulled the dresses ourselves again. They had to order a sash, they called when it came in, I went to the store and there was some type of huge sale and I could no one to wait on me so I left without the sash. They call me on Monday again to pick up the sash, or they were going to ship it back to the supplier, I told her that I had already tried to pick up the sash. So I went again to pick up the sash, they girl at the desk said she could not leave the desk so I ended up waiting for 15 minutes for a $10 sash that I had already paid for, it was annoying. It did order a dress from their website with a better experience it was shipped to my home and everything was correct! Avoid the store buy from the website.

    I had my final fitting on Monday here is a picture of me in my dress with it bustled. 16 days until my wedding, 13 days until we leave.
