I am making my FI's sister a bridesmaid because he wants her as one. Both of his siblings are in our wedding, not sure if they are even going to come (they have both made comments about not being able to afford it). My full sister I did not ask because I know she can't afford to come the DW, so I did not want her to feel obligated. I have my 1/2 sister as a my maid of honor, my cousin, a good friend and his sister. She asked me to stand in her wedding, but I just feel she did it because she felt obligated to do so, now I am having her stand because FI thinks it is the right thing to do. I am buying my attendants attire and was hoping to buy off the rack to save money, I feel strange about asking her size as she is plus size and we are not close so I don't want to offend her. So finding my attendants attire has been challenging. I know she has no intentions of hanging out with me all day while I watch her try on dresses.

The resort will allow outside photographers if they are you guest and staying at the resort at least that is what I have read

I am wearing my dress again and having my bridal party wear their attire, as well. I do not think it is tacky at all I think it is a gesture as many of your friends and family did not get to see you in your dress on your actual wedding day. We are planning on having an At Home Reception about a month after we return from DW. But I have now been toying with the idea of a "Send Off Party" the weekend before we go to DR. We are not having any bridal or couple showers, or engagement parties. So I wanted to have an informal get together before we so people not attending could give well wishes before we get married. This would give our families a chance to get to know each other and I wanted to prepare a slide show with a picture time line of FI and my life up until the point we meet each other. Id having a Send Off and a AHR too much??

We are included everything in one mailing the invitation will be for the DW and reception enclosure card will have the AHR info and the reply card will list both events. I don't want to hurt anyone feeling so we thought that this would be the best way to do it. that way no one feels excluded.

We made a honeymoon registry, that included a few traditional items as well, giving them the option to reserve a gift and buy at the store of their choice. I think they have the sunblock available online but you have to purchase in quantities of 24

The second one is better in my opinion

We are doing one of each per OOT bag. And are only doing one OOT bag per room. that is still 20 of each product, but I think my guest will appreciate it, since I heard that if buy the sunblock at the resort it is $30 a bottle.

Our guest are paying $1240 per person this includes round-trip airfare from New Orleans to Punta Cana, 4 night stay at Melia Caribe( all inclusive) and transfers to and from the airport. This is for Feb 2013.

I found this great airfare tracker Yapta.com, you can track a specific itinerary and it will alert you when the price drops. You can also track hotel prices. I told all my guest about the site.

We are having a Champagne Brunch 1 month after we return with 125 guests. This is our breakdown: $3375- hall, food, champagne, wine beer $ 490 - 3 hours of photography with full release of pictures on DVD $ 400 - wedding cake $4265.00 But, I also want to do favors and flowers on the the tables so it will probably be closer to $5,000

That is what we are doing as well.... I don't think your guest will mind they know you are on your honeymoon.

Target.com has a bridesmaid collection starting 54.99, all orders over $50 ship for free and you can return all items in store with no hassle. I am tempted to order my bridesmaid dresses from Target.com, but I wanted to know if any of you ladies have tried them out before and what was your experience? Your feedback will really help.

We found another great $1 store find, SPF 30 4oz SunBlock and after sun aloe lotion or gel 6oz $1. I think this this will make a great addition to our OOT bags!

We just booked our Engagement Session May 28th at City Park! We will be taking picture in the park with our dog right before sunset. We already sent out our save the dates, what other ways can we display our engagment photos to our friends and family??

We are 10 months out and I just sent out our 2nd round of save the dates. We set up our room block about 10 months to go. We have 14 people booked with 6 rooms reserved out of our 10 room block, we still have 4 rooms to meet the requirement of the room block. When did your guests start booking their rooms?
