We are doing a sunset cruise as a reception, I it it is a nice touch! I think it will be truly unique!

We are not getting married in Jamaica, but we are switching resorts after the wedding, to a more intimate resort. We are staying 5 nights at our wedding resort and 5 nights at our honeymoon resort both are in Punta Cana about a 30 minute drive apart and both are all inclusives

I love the second dress and you could wear a higher heel and you would be more comfortable and able to dance more . You can take bridal portraits in the first one then sell it. That way you have pictures of yourself in both dresses.

I originally planed on buying the Grooms and Groomsmen Attire. But now that I have researched it a little more I see that some rental stores offer a Destination Wedding line and give you 7 extra days free rental. In particular Al's formal wear. We would get the Grooms Attire free and the attendants would get the suit tie, shirt and shoes included for $167.46 each. This would make for a more polished look.... What are you girls doing? Has anyone rented for a Destination Wedding?

Same here! It is comforting that other BDW member recieved their's but I am nervos as well, as I did not recieve mine yet either and I emailed her no response.....

It helps that we are doing a brunch which will take place during the day, keeps the food cost down, and we are only offering champagne, wine, beer, instead of a full bar. We will do a signature drink but it will be a blushing bride mimosa. We are using our Pod for music.

Yes we are, we have 4 BMs we are buying for the Target.com bridesmaids collection they are only $69.00 plus we are buying there shoes for shoe dazzle.com buy one get one free so shoe came to $19.97 a piece! I am also going to get them jewelry but I have not decided on that yet. I am asking that my BMs pay for their hair & make-up which is going to cost $115

Oh well the pass is $107 and cab fare is about $40 the resort charges $150 for hair and make-up so it I just split the cost among myself and my bridesmaids I we will save $5 a piece and avoid the dr tax

We are sending out our AHR invitations with our DW invites using it as an enclosure card and RSVP lists both events so we will have our AHR and DW RSVPs at the same time so that will be taken care of before we leave. We plan on mailing reminder postcards when we return to the the people who responded yes to the AHR, since it will be sent out earlier than normal.

Mine said it shipped as well.... waiting on it to arrive, hopefully I will get mine today.
