    We are getting married at the Melia Caribe Tropical in Punta Cana, Staying 5 nights there then transfering resort to the Zoetry in Punta Cana and staying 5 nights there. 180 days til our wedding!!!

    My FI's is in charge of the wedding play-list. And he does not want colored converse, he said he is okay with Gray converse

    I would take her to the side and talk to her. Explain that you would appreciate it if she was more supportive of your decisions and planning a wedding is stressful enough. Bridesmaids are supposed to help you with your planning not stress you out. My FI sister is standing in my wedding and she is the only one that has an issue with dresses, hair and shoes, however she is the only one I don't have a good relationship with to talk to her about this. All my other bridesmaids would be fine if I asked them to wear a burlap sack lol. Good luck!

    We are doing just parasols my wedding colors are fuchsia and tangerine, the BMs are wearing Tangerine dresses and carrying Fuchsia Parasols. I will be the only one with a Bouquet

    We booked 5 nights in the romance suite and are getting the symbolic package for free You do get sparkling wine, cake, bouquet in the package The labarcaza will also do a ceremony for you not sure on the cost but I think it is a flat rate

    I ordered my dress a year in advance and it took a 5 months to arrive.

    We picked punta Cana specifically for this reason a catholic priest will come to the hotel and celebrate in the mass in their chapel if there is no chapel present then the mass will be celebrated in a place that is peaceful and deemed appropriate by the priest. We picked the melia because the gazebo is where the carholic wedding is preformed and it is beautiful.

    I booked Krystie Ann for my wedding too! She will do a Skype consultation before the wedding. Also it is nice knowing you won't have language barrier issues

    I purchased my wedding dress 1 year in advance, but my alteration are not until 2 months before my wedding.

    I I received my hanger yesterday in the mail it almost took a month to receive I think it was definitely worth the money although it did not come with a ribbon I will add one myself

    My wedding is Mid February 2013. We sent out save the dates 18 months in advance and then again 11months in advance. I am sending out invites in early November, with a return date by January 1st. Final payment for us is due December 5th. With destination weddings, I really dont think there is such thing as too early, or too much notice (or too many reminders!) I also keep everyone updated with our wedding website.
