Tori, these are FANTASTIC! love them!! if i had more time and didnt have my own already i would definitely invest in these. How about having a really nice basket (40% off at Michaels right now) with a sign attached and then people can help themselves....good chance the men wont and their companions (being the females) will fan them down LOL i dont think the men would use the palm fans either so i dont see why you should bother since these are so great!!! just an idea

Honestly even though i am trying to stay calm and carry on....IT AINT EASY! every day we get closer and things like this happen, it stresses me out. I also have OOT and favors and everything figured out to the T! and it might drive me a little crazy to just add random place settings etc....it would look so out of place and i want pics of my set up at the resort! I cant control everything and i dont want to be a B*&^% to my guests who are afterall friends and family but it completely boggles my mind. Even if (and its WAY off the truth) you just showed up and it was done for you....the resort would still need to know how many people they need to snap their fingers and miraculously have a wedding put together for LOL This is me right now!!!!!!!! @Camy......good luck! i hope you get all your RSVP. Just be prepared that a good chunk of people will not RSVP and you will have to decide to just let it go or start dialing away and calling everyone. Now i see why some of the people didnt RSVP (i never called) they were planning the whole time to just shop for a last minute deal. (can you tell i'm bitter) LOL the GOOD news is.....i have my BD shoot and make up trial booked. My photogs that is coming down south with me....his gf is a make up artist and is doing my make up so we will do the trial and then my make up will be done for the BD shoot. I have to go shopping for my outfits. Retail therapy always makes me feel better My dress fitting is also on the 24th WOOOHOOO

HAHAHA too funny!!! I was stressing out today and had to remind myself to keep calm.... There are so many last minute guests adding on. Its not that i mind that we will have more people or anything like that but its the fact that we are so close now and most of my planning is done for favors, OOT, my BUDGET, organized seating, the resort etc.....if it were two people SURE no problem but we are talking like 8 and counting...so many of the last minute deal shoppers. But the worst part is that we are finding this out through the TA and the guests arent even telling us so when we mention it to them they are telling us they thought it would be a "nice surprise"....i think some people dont get that you are still planning a wedding. Its not just a trip down south. I need to know these things! LOL oh well there is my rant....if i have all these extra people and not enough OOT or favors i will just politely apologize to these guests and move along with my trip and wedding! Keep calm and carry on!!!! LOL

You are more then welcome ladies. If i update it at all i will share Tori, I know your pain. My wedding is in about 6 weeks and one of my girls still doesnt have shoes!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHH after the dress fittings on the 24th we are going to go shopping so i really hope we find something. I am also planning on making a trip across the border for a day to do some shopping so if we have no luck on the 24th then i will have to bring her with me for my day shopping trip and we will have to crack down to find something!!! I have amazing barefoot jewels for the ceremony for everyone but she doesnt have shoes for the reception. Hot pink shoes arent that easy to find but i have found sooo many amazing options but none of them worked out. I even bought a pair at one point andt hey werent comfortable so i had to return them! Also the "best man" is Fi's sister and we dont have shoes for her yet either!!! Hopefully by the end of this month all of those things will be done so i dont have to have a panic attack. When i see October on the calendar i am going to start stressing out LOL

Well ladies, its not 100% complete but getting there but thought i would share my progress on the spreadsheet. The tabs are all at the bottom. And when i get stuff done i am just highlighting in green. That method works for me since i am a very visual person. I will make the packing list a little more specific when i get closer but this is giving me the idea for now. Since my packing list mostly has all items on it, a lot will be distributed to Nate's (Fi's) suitcase as well. I'm also planning on getting one of those compression bags to allow more room for the wedding stuff on the way there. Maybe this will help one of you to do list sept.xlsx

it drove me nuts for the longest time...people seem to forget that you still have a wedding and the details to plan, its not just the trip! eventually i decided that if it wasnt possible for people to send their RSVPs they likely werent coming. If their intention was to come they would have made contact with me one way or another, through the RSVP, the TA or by a call with questions or to say how excited they were to come. And well i was right....we are now about 6 weeks from leaving and nothing ever changed. the people that RSVP'd are coming and the rest that we never heard from or RSVP'd no, still arent coming LOL we had one or two ppl have changes in their lives at at the last minute ask about pricing but maybe only 3 or 4 which wont make or break my planning anyway.

LMAO!!! Thats too funny! but frustrating at the same time I'm the same...i would end up giving him control and then end up nit picking or checking what he is doing anyway. He knows this too so he gets involved when i ask and he had certain must haves which i was okay with but other then that he is happy to just leave me with the planning duties. At the end of the day though i try to be fair...its his day too so i ask him if he likes things and for his opinion but I also tried to find ways to embrace the things he is awesome at, like writing!!! so one of his to-do's is write our thank you speaches LOL its an important thing to me to properly thank my guests who have travelled so far and my "hubby to be" is so good with words on paper (he wrote me a song and create a video where he sang it while he played it on guitar for his proposal to me )so i know our speaches will be great! other then that i am doing everything HAHAHAHA

our ceremony will be at 4 but we will manage to get some early sunset pics in and then our reception will start at sunset

HI Mandy A small group will be so beautiful and intimate. Did you consider maybe having everyone sit in a circle around you? I saw this in pics once and with a small group it was SOOOO beautiful!!! you could always set up a really pretty decoration and have everyone stand behind it. i found this pic (may not be your style or match your plans but you can make it your own) you might even be able to play on this in your planning and theme "Circle of love" or something like that. Just some ideas. I am getting married at 4:00pm. I think the time you are getting married is not bad so dont let it get you down....once your ceremony is done you will have nice day light to take pics on the beach and then your reception can be at sunset and you can take more pics then you get the best of both.
