Thanks Kat I am taking the evening today and tomorrow to re-group. I will make my lists and try to get some stuff done I have already delegated speach writing to my FI LOL so i will see if there is anything else on the list i can get him to help with. its mostly difficult right now because we just moved and have a lot of painting and reno's to do. Some will wait until after the wedding but some had to get done right away. AND i am planning my sisters baby shower all at the same time....i think i am crazy LOL

Ladies....I have had a moment of SERIOUS PANIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we leave in under 7 weeks! I have SOOOO much to do!

I was at Dollarama at Trainyards yesterday and they had some flower shaped ones in different colors. The basic round ones were all white. there were a few in a pack for a dollar of the flower ones.

you can get some very fancy and pretty barefoot jewels. but i think wedges or flip flops dressed up with flower clips work great too...its all a metter of taste though

hmmmm i have only seen them in white. i am doing some wedding projects today that will have me out and about so i will keep my eyes open for you

I agree that every resort is different. I have been to the resort where i will be getting married and they def appreciate tips. its not mandatory though. I am bringing my photog from ottawa. Its a friend. So we are paying for his trip and he in turn is doing our photography so i dont think a tip will be necessary there. Although after i get my pics i will probably put together a nice thank you card and maybe a little care package for him just out of appreciation. I will have a tip prepared for the WC as well at the resort. They work so hard and they dont make a lot of money and you are not hiring them and paying them directly. I was thinking of putting $100.00 in an envelope which i know will be very appreciated. Because i am paying videographers etc directly i dont think a tip is necessary but i havent 100% decided.

So my bridal party had my bachelorette party for me on Saturday and a part of it happened to be a fantasia party :-D i was thrilled and before the lady could even begin her presentation i was asking her about the powder. She had some and poured a glass of water and put the powder in it...it was amazing. The powder just sat on the surface and when you put the powder on your finger and dipped it in a glass of water your finger comes out DRY! Needless to say i bought some LOL This stuff really works. The lady was super cute too when i told her i was getting married in Punta Cana she even gave me this little travel size version to put in my purse :)

I had cups built in to my dress for my sisters wedding ...i was wearing a maggie as my maid of honor dress. It was gorgeous. I dont have pics here at work .....the sewn in cups were amazing. I am quite busty and the dress was strapless so this was just amazing for me for support, comfort and not having to worry. I have tried the stick ons and ones that just drop in and didnt find them to be as good as the built ins. The stick in ones did not stay on me as my bust was heavier and just pulled them off the drop in ones were ok but depending on the fit of the dress i found they moved around. It cost me $50.00 to have the built in so it was well worth it! hope that helps

Thanks for the warning! that really sucks and i'm glad to see you found alternatives. I think with all the stress of a wedding and planning that even the littlest things can set us off which is understandable...i wont lie, i would be really ticked off too! LOL keep your head up....you will be in paradise marrying the man you love in less then a week :)

Tori...THAT SYCKS!!! not much else to say! I think i would just recommend changing your name on here so that when you are googled then it cant track back to you. If you have a random name then nothing should come up. I googled myself and Fi and nothing comes up. janet is a common name but my last name and Fi's name arent there so it doesnt pop up in google. I hope it gets fixed up for you as bdw is a great way to share and i love seeing others post cause its very helpful for ideas and such. dont give up! LOVE LOVE!!! did i say LOVE ??? lol i am doing hot pink shoes as well for my wedding
