Deesanders, it was definitely sudden! She even just had a colonoscopy done and was told that everything is normal.

Hey ladies, I just had a crazy 28 hours! My FMIL just had to go through an emergency surgery for her raptured colon. My FI is away for a 2 week military duty and I now basically have to take over my FMIL's household ( she basically is constantly on her hands and knees for my FFIL and FBIL!) and still take care of my 2 year old in the process! We are all in shock at how much goes into healing for this kind of procedure! She's going to be out of work for a few months, man just quite a change for all of us! Ofcourse we're all just relieved that she's ok. Whew! Anyway, Acutie I finally got the bags, it basically looks tie-dyed now LOL so I will try to make another trip to the CTS asap and will let you know once I have the bags when I can send them out. Still holding on to your check and usps did cover it so wee're not loosing out on $ they admitted that it was their fault they missed it, I guess they said that it fell out of the truck when they were unloading and they didn't realize/ or saw it since it was in a pretty small box. Atleast they didn't give me a hard time about it, I came in with the reciept from the CTS so that helped a lot! Ok for the NYC trip, we might have to cancel but what can I do there are more pressing things going on right now. But I had an appointment with Lovely Bridal, they carry sarahseven, wanted to have a feel on the dress. Then another bridal shop in the city, but they're more like a discount place for signature brands-- can't think of their name for the moment though. By the way, if you don't mind sharing how much the a la carte would be and what you basically include in it I would appreciate it! Just so I can get an idea and be able to compare... Deesanders, we basically did the same thing sending out about 100 STD's even to people we didn't think would come but I didn't ask for an RSVP I just put that option on our website and have gotten calls or texts from those who are interested. So for the invites I'm also making a separate one, I found a 50 pack that was on clearance at Michaels for about $8 and will send those out to the ones that we believe will not come. We just want to avoid sending out STD's then not sending out the formal Invites that could possible hurt their feelings. Just to give you another option, you can definitely find a lot store that has invite stationary on sale... even target would have them. Just a thought

For the invites I just made a pocketfold to hold the passport and the RSVP card and envelope then glued on the linen fabric. I got it from the linen invites here, she actually had a step by step picture... pretty easy to follow. Just search linen invites and you'll find it right away, it was featured on the home page at one point. I thought you would be happy to find a potential August 2012 bride! It really sucks we can't swap things, especially when they have a photographer that doesn't seem to have a wedding portfolio I googled him and everything! Anyone hear about who the DJ is?

Thank you for checking katusha! I appreciate it so my VERY gracious sister offered to pay for my dress so I'll be heading to NYC with her this weekend! It all worked out! Now I'm trying to sell my knock-off! Haha.

I think the problem is that we've not heard a thing about the resort's photographer! Obviously capturing this big day is so important that we can't chance just hoping they will provide us the service we all want... I wish they could let us know so we can figure out if it's worth keeping it in the package or try to swap it with something else!

I ordered this knock-off from dressilyme.com, it is a gorgeous dress! I am on a tight budget that's why I decided to go the "knock-off" route but was fortunate to have a great sister who surprized me with a gift certificate to a bridal shop! I definitely didn't want to end up with 2 dresses and would love to find a home for this awesome dress. Message me if interested and can send more pictures as well. It is a size 4.

Sarah, I could also be wrong about that... I just assumed that because when I asked if we could eliminate the whole spanish translated to english part the WC offered to officiate. I was more thinking out loud too for the pricing, I think that was one of the questions that I've been waiting on an answer forever... whether or not Pastor York's fee would be included in the package pricing. I know they list judge or minister on there with the legal costs as an extra fee... Moni, would really be interested to find out about DJ and Photog I hope you hear back from them soon!

I didn't know the minister would do it english? I thought they all did it in spanish... That's definitely a good idea though, I think it's $500 extra for the judge? Do you then have to pay another extra for the minister? Or is one of them covered with the package?

Acutie- I haven't decided about the dress. My FI is insisting on wearing a light grey/ silver suit which wasn't what I imagined (tan/ sand color) so I'm not sure how well my current dress will look with his choice suit, so I'm looking around. But I did decide to knock-off the sarahseven dress since I'm having no luck with the macy's dress. Moniwoni, I didn't realize you switched dates I just copied what was posted from before .
