I wanted to do the "traditional" luggage tags, like the ones that most brides on here have done but when I showed the idea to my FI he was insisted we do something that our guests would have posted on their fridge! lol. Thought that was the cutest thing so I had to make it happen! I made about 30 STD's all for under $30 staying under our budget! feel so good!

moniwoni, thanks! i think i'm going to stick with how it looks now... i'm excited to send them out, hopefully i get the confirmation soon! Pastor York does the symbolic ceremony, not sure if that is what you are looking to do. here is his email [email protected] if you want the option to have the ceremony in english only.

AcutieRn, Pastor York told me $350 for his services and I don't have to pay 'til we meet. Also I think Emy told me that he would not need a day pass. But this was when they were still the NHReal. I hope that it doesn't chage and that the fee would not be raised, since you mentioned that I read the wedding package thing again and it says $550 for minister? I will try to contact Pastor York to see if he changes the pricing with me and let you know...

no, thanks! i have it printed out from before. i did email emy about getting pictures as well, so hopefully they can provide us with more pricing and pictures for their "extras".

oh and i'm pretty sure that the nh wedding book had the same pics as the now jade as far as flowers and cakes... i don't know if you still have that document, you can look and compare as well... i think it would be safe to assume they would use the same vendor for that.

yes deesanders, i have been opening and saving templates ever since i got to 150 posts! =) so if there is a specific item you want access to let me know I can get it to you by email.

I've been trying to get more pictures as far as flowers and decoration... I know the Now Jade brides have this book that they can refer to for that. I have it printed out but not in color so even if I scan to share it might not be worth it... I'll see if I can find that file or maybe request it from the Jade brides... but hopefully Now Larimar would have one for us soon!

Acutie, Yes I have Pastor York booked for my date and we actually already have my cerermony script personalized! haha. I was very excited to learn about him so as soon as I got in contact, we finalized everything! So it's official your date is booked! now you can get more things accomplished, thanks again for passing on whatever info you get!

Acutie, have you initiated any communication with Pastor York yet? When I contacted him back in Feb. he told me that it was a good thing I did early because he usually books fast for the months March and April. It's gotta be frustrating waiting on your confirm... I probably would have to go through the same! It'll work out, the waiting game again! lol.

Deesanders I think it's the shift key that you press and hold as you click over all of the items on your monogram. Hope that works for you!

Hi ladies! I received my dress today, it's going to need some alteration but I ordered the dress one size up just to be safe... I will try to post pics once I get someone to take the pictures, I', very very happy with it! Also I wanted to show you girls my STD "luggage tag" magnets, I feel like it's missing something? Maybe you can help me pinpoint what it is, maybe a charm? I'm yet to get envelopes and figured I might as well do a poll if there is anything I can add to it... I also want to get my confirmation from the resort before I send them out, plus our website isn't 100% yet! lol. Let me know what you ladies think...

My FI and I officially decided on Now Larimar! yay! We're just going to fight to get the same rate you got AcutieRN, hopefully we get the price match for our guests sake! But we love Now and we're sending in our info to book our date and make it official!

Thanks Debs, I was asking about Ocean Blue... I just read it from a review somewhere... I definitely scratched DPC a while back because of the pricing. I really like Ocean with the wedding packages and what's included and also the rates for our guests... I'm just trying to convince the FI that this resort is as nice as all the other ones we have considered. I guess he feels like there has to be something wrong with it since their rates as so much cheaper than others!

Debs, is it true that the resort is so big that it takes a lot of walking to get to any part of the resort?

What about a poolside recception? Or did you want to be indoors? I did look into Dreams before any other resort but their room rates are way too high for my guests as well...
