David's Bridal Style D3586 http://www.davidsbridal.com/Product_Ruched-Charmeuse-Gown-with-Tiered-Feathered-Skirt-D3586 This was supposed to be my reception dress but the party was so great and we took so many pictures that I never had time to change into it!     It'll work out! We planned for 50 - 65 people but after my future father in law informed us that his 2 best friends are coming, we are up to 87 people at our wedding in less than 2 weeks. :-) At this point, I choose to be happy about it. Just think, this many people want to bask in the beauty of your marriage, Jamaica and your love! Hopefully you can soon smile about it.

    Couldn't agree more! In the end, you'll be beautiful, your FI will be dashing and you'll look back on the journey with smiles. Don't become overwhelmed along the way. I say this having had a mild situation last night when our 74th guest RSVP'ed (we've been planning for 65 people MAX). :-) I know if will be a memorable weekend and I'm thankful so many are able and excited to share in it with us.

    I'm so excited ladies! We are 86 days out and have 49 people booked. If we keep moving at this rate, we will probably have about 60 guests. I must say, I didn't think this many people would be able to make the journey and I am more than thrilled. The weekend will surely be epic! Have you all vacationed at/visited your wedding venue already?

    Deangelis2 be, any advice based on the wedding you are planning on 4/28? I'm getting married on 5/25 and things are going well so far but you may have the inside scoop now that you're working on your 2nd wedding at the Grand!

    I'm so excited, Brides! We are getting married on the 25th of May and so far we have 43 people booked! This is going to be amazing. The planners at the Grand have been fantastic thus far. Sagesma, let Angellie and Janielle know if you need anything.

    My cousins are in Mo Bay so I'm asking them to find something for me. There are several souvenir shops that offer discounts for bulk purchases there on the island and I won't have to worry about shipping or carrying on from DC. :-)

    Good idea. I've been looking for personalized bags but it would be so much cheaper if we just ironed on our logo. :-)

    Perfect! I'm looking for a reusable type bag but the minimum order of 100 that I keep seeing on websites is prohibitive because we only need 35! This is a great find and not much more expensive than a plain paper or plastic alterntive. Thanks!

    2012 rates are twice those for 2011?! Say it isn't so! I just emailed the coordinators for the updated rates but I've certainly been working from the figures I received when I booked this June for my May 2012 ceremony.     Hey QTSkee 78! So happy to hear you're marrying at the Grand and you're not that far from me (in DC). I've seen a few brides from the DMV and am absolutely ecstatic about returning to the Grand this May. let me know how the site visit goes! Angellie and Janielle are great.

    The centerpieces are a great idea! How many people are you expecting? I'm trying to decide on the complexity of my centerpieces but I don't know exactly how many tables I'll have yet.
