Thanks for your help ladies! This was going to be my next question about reserving your locations....this kind of makes me nervous that you don't pick the locations until you are down there!!! I saw on the facebook page that someone was stuck with a ballroom reception (which I'm sure is nice but she wanted an outdoor reception) because the other locations were already occupied. I would just be very disappointed to go all the way down there and not be able to have an outdoor reception. Now I don't know what to do?!? Any advice on this issue? Thanks

Hey ladies, I have recently changed my mind from Paradisus to DPB. Just wondering if there is a link to photos for the ceremony and reception locations, and like the flowers and centerpieces and stuff like that, I thought there was one on the website but now I can't find it anywhere. I havent officially booked my date but am hoping for May 2012. Thanks in advance!

OK great thanks! I like the idea of a reception but we want to keep the cost down and just do something simple and not stressful. Thats kinda why we are not having a wedding and recpeption at home, so it kind of defeats the purpose if we have one down there. I have not been to PPC does anyone have any recommendations for a restaurant that would be good for post wedding dinner? Or descriptions/photos??

I know you can privatize a restaurant for a reception (which is read is pretty expensive) but does anyone know if you can have your ceremony and then just have dinner with your wedding party and guests at one of the restaurants without it being like a formal reception, like with decorations, DJ, etc..?? I have read so many of these threads and I thought I remember reading that someone did that before, but maybe they were a small group...

I know the extra cost per person for a reception of over 24 people, but what else is extra, and does anyone maybe have a list from the resort of extras?? Thanks for your advice ladies!! I am so glad I found this forum to help with the planning! Although I find myself on here several hours a week now...it's def my new hobby....lol. But in my searching I found a post from a bride of PPC 2010 maybe you have seen it but I found it very helpful. There are several pics and she reviews the restaurants and has details of her ceremony and reception.
