I am in the same boat - I am having my mom walk me down the aisle as my dad is pretty much non-existent in my life. I don't even think he knows my FIs name. However, I have invited him to the wedding. I wasn't even going to mention it to him but the other day I was told that I should tell him that he isn't walking me down the aisle. I haven't spoken with him in over a year, do I really have to have that conversation? Think it would be horrible if I just sent him an email? Any idea as to how I should word it? I just sort of assumed that he would know he wouldn't be walking me... Any advice?

Fun! I told my FI that I didn't want a diamond. When i got it, he said, i didn't get you "a" diamond, i got you 68 of them...lol Tricky tricky, isn't he? I love my ring, so I am happy to share it with you all. It's a sapphire, with diamonds and set in platinum.

Just heard back! Here is what she says: My coordinator's name who I was dealing with via email was Esterlin. I think she is the head of the department, when you get down there you get one of her staff. I can't remember the women who helped me down there. Esterlin emailed us a package with prices and add-ons. It was very helpful with budgeting. You just have to pick the day and time of the wedding as well as location and everything else can be left for when you gets there. I changed my mind on many things when I saw them in person (including location of the reception and flowers). Also by the time I got down there they had added more options to the menu.
