  1. OMG - these are beautiful!!! Where is that tree? Is it on site? Where did you buy your hubby's suit and the groomsman's shirts? We are looking for the same thing right now. Thanks!!
  2. Hi All, We just finished our DIY boarding pass invites, my FI and I worked really hard on them. I designed the general look and feel & graphics & wording, etc. Jay helped put them together: cutting, gluing, perforating and stuffing envelopes. I am so pleased with the way they turned out. It was a really great activity to do together. In this post I will show you what they look like. In my next one, I will give you the details on how we made them (just may take a little time). Also, the ivory paper is actually pearlescent/ opalescent so it has a shimmer to it. The camera doesn't really pick it up. I have to say a huge thank you to all of you lovely ladies for helping me both creatively and logistically. We wouldn't have been able to do these without your help.
  3. Hey Ladies!! I am January 12, 2012 at the Riu Ocho Rios! I am so excited. It's going to come really fast!!! We just sent out our invites and now I am working on the welcome bags!! It's so much fun to plan all the small things to make everyone feel welcome. We will be there from Jan 8-15, then we are moving over to the Riu Tropical Bay for our honeymoon. Let me know if any of you will be there! Kel
  4. This is why I love having all you ladies. I am so bad at keeping secrets and I am trying hard not so show my dress to the world - so for now, I will share it with all of you! This is a dress I NEVER would have picked but I fell in love with it when the girl gave it to me to try on... I am having a layer of the lace added around the perimeter of the train.
  5. Beautiful! I am working on mine right now and this really helps for wording on the second sheet. Thanks a million! Kelly
  6. Once again, I have come to depend on you ladies for input on everything I do! Thank you for this wonderful thread!
  7. I am paying for my bridesmaids dresses but I am considering going with the Victoria Secret Multiway dresses that are under $100.00, they have similar dresses for even less at Aqua (Branch of La Vie en Rose, not sure if its in the US). The one's from Aqua will be under $50.00 so it's not so bad. I wan in my bros wedding a couple years ago in Dominican and we paid about $150 for our dresses and I didn't even think twice about it. I think if it's not to pricy it's a nice thank you gift. Plus I am truly hoping that they will wear the mulitway dress again. I bought one and absolutely love it!!!
  8. By the way - for Vistaprint.ca - for my first order, I did the slow delivery (21 days) and it arrived in less than ten!
  9. I love them. I am thinking of just ordering them for my bridal party - which works out to be 15 (min. order)of us all together! I am having some serious issues trying to order them on their website. Flash keeps crashing!!
  10. I think I need an intervention - I just made my 2nd vistaprint order. I AM SOOO ADDICTED! This time around, I ordered a free tote bag, a mouse pad, a bumper sticker, pen, t-shirt, magnets, return addy labels, etc. I will send you all some pics when I get the second order in - only paid $25.00 for shipping. We are having a resort challenge for our guests so we are using the bumper stickers and mouse pads as cheesy gifts to give people who win. The bumper sticker says "I won the K&J wedding challenge". I really like the hats - they are white with a beige underside. I ordered the moms each a free Mother of the Bride and Mother of the Groom hats. Where do you find the door hangers? Or are they rack cards and you cut out the door knob hole?
  11. This is why I love you girls!!! THANK YOU!!! Now I have some big decisions to make!
  12. Oh my gosh! This is awesome!!! You can really tell that you put a lot of heart and soul into making this perfect! Can you tell me a bit more about how you made the coasters? Was it a stamp that you had made? Where did you order the blank ones from? Thanks for sharing!
  13. I would love to revive this thread! I was looking into the Urban Element too! I have been to an event there and it is beautiful inside but fairly small. Anyone else have any ideas? I don't want to pay a fortune.
  14. Hi All, I saw these gorgeous shoes in a wedding magasine and they were white Stilettos with a bright blue bottom / underside. Has anyone else come across these. Although I plan on walking down the aisle barefoot, I think they would make for fun pics after wards and I am pretty sure you have to wear shoes in our resorts restaurant. Any advice on where to find shoes like this would be much appreciated. Thanks! Kel
  15. I just put in my first order too! Can't wait to see what I get back - I got a really cute mother of the groom hat for free! I am going to keep waiting for the free stuff. I ended up paying about $30 but if I had have paid full price it would have been over $200!
  16. Oh my - that sounds like an awful experience. I am so sorry to hear that. Anyone else have the same issue? I will definitely ask you some questions in the near future! Thanks for the offer. I am so happy to see that we stick around to keep helping others, even after the planning is done.
  17. Can't wait until I have enough posts to download this Map! Thank you for sharing and I will keep checking back!
  18. I think we have very similar rings, just with different stones! Our gents have great taste! I love the yellow sapphire! All of these rings are beautiful!
