I was able to double check my contract and it's definitely in there. A line that says (vacation dollars) and then (USD dollars)... it shows my balance of $1100 on the Vacation Dollars line! -

And to my surpise it's only SELECTED wedding packages that count, which they told me very late in the game...after I already had my heart set on the Immaculate conception package. That doesn't even count in promotion dollars... I heard that you can use vacation dollars for photo and video! does video still count?? i'm going to refer to my contract and make sure that's written on there.. either way I have tons of emails that say I can use the vacation dollars credit for video

Hi Everybody!!! I was wondering if anyone was willing to consider sharing any decorations for their MP wedding this summer?? I'm specifically thinking about CHARGERS, LINENS, and CHAIR SASHES. These are some of the things I'd like to be "upgraded" in my reception decor, but I don't want to pay more than I have to. I'm wondering if people would be willing to split the cost of these things and share them for our different weddings. I get married July 23, 2011 at MP. Hope to hear from some of you soon!

This is helpful thanks... I have been told mariachis are an hour gig... and at least in my experience with JSAV- I have had no responses at all. He sent me a spreadsheet of options, which was just a sheet full of technical terms and numbers that made absolutely no sense. I asked for pictures to depict the different package options and some clarity what that stuff means and heard nothing back.

Father Benito also fell off the map with me for a little while there... I wrote to my WC and told her and a few days later I got a response back from him finally.. I saw on the thread that she got on him about needing to respond back to me nicely of course, since he's a priest and all lol

ooh girl... i've heard mixed reviews on this. I have heard some people have a pretty easy process with it...and then others have to defend their benefit of getting the refund and waiting several weeks. I don't know the process yet. I am using the comp nights to stay an additional week for the honeymoon at another palace resort...so i've asked them to apply the comp nights to that.
