  1. Thanks ladies! We had our wedding last week and they worked out great. We received lots of compliments on them!
  2. Ok, here's our playlists for you. I don't know if we have the same taste, but hopefully this helps you a bit. As I mentioned, from our dinner to the end of the night we're transitioning from the 50s, to the 60s, some 70s, a bunch of bangers from the 80s and then some more current songs. Our taste in current music is indie/folk, but I'm not sure if that's your style. Good luck with all your last minute details! Music while guests are waiting at ceremony site (we're narrowing this list down to 5 songs: Still working on a walk down the aisle song... Music during ceremony, playing quietly in the background: Villa De La Refugio - This Will Destroy You The Mighty Rio Grande - This Will Destroy You "You May Kiss the Bride" and walk back up the aisle song: Solsbury Hill - Peter Gabriel Cocktail Hour we have a mariachi band, so that will be our music for that hour. Dinner music (6pm-7:30pm): Various Doo-Wop songs, we just downloaded a torrent of some of the best ones First dance: When I Fall in Love Sam Cooke Dance with parents: As Time Goes By Dooley Wilson (song from Casablanca) Partytime! 3. Congrats! You guys look so happy!
  4. Congrats Ali! Happy to hear that your week was perfect. Can't wait to see the rest of your photos!
  5. Oh my goodness, good luck with getting all that done! Maybe you can do some of it on the plane? I also suggest just assigning tables to people and not worrying about specific seats for everyone at this point. As long as everyone has a table, they can figure out where to sit. I'll also post my playlists here shortly for you to get some inspiration. Are you doing iPod music or a DJ? For our dinner we're playing doo-wop to go with our vintage theme, and then our dance playlist goes from the 50s, to the 60s, a couple of 70s songs, then a whole bunch of bangers from the 80s Here's a link for some ceremonies: http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/t/4785/unique-ceremonies
  6. Thank you everyone! Two weeks today I'll be putting the dress on to walk down the aisle to marry the love of my life. Can't wait!
  7. I'm using USA transfers for my guests since our hotel doesn't include them. They have been a dream to work with and have the best rates on the whole coast. I did a lot of research before picking them, and I live here as well and asked around. Hope this helps! http://www.usa-transfers.com/
  8. Here's our frames for our vintage travel themed wedding with places in the world that have a special meaning to us. Click on the link below for details on how I put them together and where everything is from! http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/t/86109/diy-table-number-alternative
  9. Hey ladies! I just finished my table numbers last night. We've got a rustic vintage theme with some travel elements, such as old suitcases, a globe, and tables named after places that are special to us. Two of the places are from our home province in British Columbia where we celebrated our 1st and 2nd anniversaries, two are from a trip we took to Puerto Rico, one from a trip to Mexico City, and another is little town on the Yucatan peninsula called Valladolid. Each background has little elements that match the people at the table - Guests from Chicago, Toronto, New York, Argentina, Mexico, and two people that were married in San Francisco. My aunt is a flight attendant so the one with the stewardess went to her table! I'm happy that everything matched up that way, some of them weren't even on purpose! The frames are from the dollar store, the hangtags (which i soaked in tea) are from Staples, and the background is wrapping paper I ordered from Paper Source.
  10. Here's my dress with the final alterations! It's Ramona Keveza L854. I had buttons added all the way down the back and my sister gave me the sash she wore with her wedding dress 6 years ago. Please excuse my red eyes in the last photo, my allergies were acting up that day!
