    I am def going to ask a friend to do it, we can't have all of our friends in the wedding, so this is an easy way to include more people. I just have to figure out which person would enjoy doing it.

    This is something that I cannot decide on either. I will be having about 40 people at my wedding. Do some resorts allow you to borrow a microphone or do you have to rent that as well?

    Don't listen to the resort, they just want more money from you. If someone really wants a drink, they can go to the resort bar, there is no need for you to pay more!

    I agree, a DJ, I've had more fun at weddings with DJs vs. Live bands and DJs are cheaper !

    I like the idea of asking two people so that they can take breaks if the resort doesn't supply a person.
